on to the actual topic of this thread now.
do you think y'all D will do a better job of control Pryor than y'all did with Scam?

Scam is the better runner, but i think TP is the better "quarterback".

I would hope so.

Our defense as a whole has played better since the fiasco of the 6th game of the season and while I don't think it's possible to completely stop someone like TP, I'd like to think we could slow him down some.

Our D Line is pretty solid, and pretty deep.

I don't look for OSU to score 65 on us.

The key to stopping Terrelle is containing him (force him to be uncomfortable and create more situations where he has to throw over the middle, where he struggles), and to string him out to the sideline on options and scrambles. He is every bit as athletic as Cam (I believe he's a little faster), but he's nowhere near as physical. He has improved a bit in this area lately, but overall if your defenders can maintain their lanes and pursuit, you can hold him to a 2-5 yd gain on the option or a 5-8 yd gain on a 3rd & 10 scramble when he would otherwise get a much more productive gain.

I doubt many here are expecting that either.

y'all D looked pretty good against LSU.
although it's tough to really judge because we don't have a QB on scholarship, and our OC sucks.

That is true. Both QBs have been banged up at times. But all that matters is Pryot and Mallett are both doing well now and let's hope neither get injured in this game.

I wasn't implying that I'd like to see Mallett injured. I'd never wish that one anyone. What I do want is his ass to have multiple rug burns from the carpet in the Superdome. Enough to make him hurry throws and worry about taking more hits.

Well hog fans you guys are slowly moving up the scale as a likeable fanbase. I like most Texas fans and you guys are getting up there. I met a couple of Hog's in Birmingham a couple days ago...Had a nice chat with them about our upcoming game.

Thank you for the compliment. It was a fun game to be at, with so much at stake. My wife has been in this country for 15 years, and it was her first football game ever. She doesn't understand the game, but enjoyed the spectacle.

It looked like the LSU offense had turned the corner somewhere around the Alabama game, and Jefferson was going to start playing up to his considerable potential.

I like to poke fun of The Hat, but I have to give him credit for being completely fearless. You never know what might come out of that hat from a play calling standpoint, or from out of his mouth.

He's an entertaining guy, never boring, and makes college football fun to follow.

I hope y'all beat TA&M like they owe you money.

You asked about playing in War Memorial Stadium a few days ago, and I gave a smartass answer, but the truth is that after the Great Stadium debate of several years ago (Little Rock vs. NW Arkansas) it was decided that Little Rock would get one conference game per year.

I don't know why LSU was selected, but I suspect it has something to do with the Thanksgiving holiday and that we were traditionally the nationally televised Friday game.

War Memorial is a dump, but the Hogs almost always play well there. The crowd is intense, insanely loud for a big game and the players love playing there.

While it will never be Red Stick at night, it does have a fairly high intimidation factor for opposing teams- especially for night games when the tailgaters on the golf course have all day to get liquored up.

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet.

You're probably a good man - I hear you're doing charity work now - but on Nov 14, 1998, with the lead and about a minute and a half left, you managed to drop the ball without being hit by a defender, allowing Tennessee to rally for a win and eventually make it to the first-ever BCS Title game to face Florida State and their 3rd string QB - instead of the weakened 'Noles facing a Buckeye team that was probably the most talented tOSU squad since the mid-70s - so even though it's been 12 years ...

FUCK YOU CLINT STOERNER!

[censored] YOU CLINT STOERNER!

The Stoernover.

The second most heartbreaking play in Razorback history, behind Street to Peschel in 1969.

We still love Clint though. Gritty player who never bought into the Houston Nutt BullShit, and probably the only Arkansas QB that Houston Nutt didn't completely ruin.

I was watching them both live on TV - shocked at the result both times.

he wins.
that is way more important to me than how he wins or what he says.

to win 10 games with the joke that was our offense this year may have been his best coaching job since arriving in BR.

he's got a .500 record against Saban and Meyer.
who everyone says is 100x's better than him.

back to Arky now.
enjoy the experience at the Sugar.
playing in BCS bowls is what everyone is shooting for, but only a select few get to do.

going 10-2 in the West this year is something to be proud of.
this is probably the toughest/deepest i've ever seen this division.
