its a tree. the "nut" of the tree is hard to crack. but inside the spikey shell is an object that looks like a bucks eye (aka a deer eye). as noted it is the state tree. to the south of our stadium is one buckeye tree for each of the 126 all americans we have had. the tradition started in 1934.

While I don't think there is any way to really prepare or replicate a T. Pryor or a $cam, I do think the Hogs will benefit enormously from having already played against Cecil's New Church Fund earlier in the season, making enormous strides late in the season, and having backup QB Brandon Mitchell available on scout team to get some looks we may see from Pryor.
