Name calling? And this is suppossed to be one of the respectable boards? It's respectable in the sense of being an OSU fan. Disrespect is allowed by OSU fans but not fans of any others. I get it now. Very classy. I have shown no disrespect nor called anyone names or tried to change someones name to something childish in an attempt to make fun of someone. You all have shown about as much class as everyone else in the college football world says you have, which is none. I've only been here a few days, but so far the vast vast majority of Ohio State fans have been nothing but polite and welcoming to myself and the other Hog posters that have come on here to have intelligent discussion. You came in here and started mouthing off about their schedule and history in bowl games and expect them to offer you hugs and concede that you are right about all the nonsense you are spouting off? Nice try, but I don't think that would work with any team's fans.

I like to think of it this way, there is no such thing as a "good" loss. It sucks to lose. Ohio State lost one game, and they hated losing it. Arkansas lost two games, and we hated losing both of them. They've got one more win than we do, and they are ranked higher than we are by a couple of spots.

Ohio State hasn't beaten an SEC team in a bowl game. Guess what? We haven't beaten a Big 10 team in a bowl game.


None of this matters Jack Diddly come January 4th. Whoever shows up with the best game plan and executes it best will go home with the win. The other will leave with a bad taste in their mouth. I just hope its a clean game with no injuries and that its entertaining for us fans!

Defensively, our weak spot is the middle of the field. Our line is very good and our dbacks are good. We're undersized at LB and have no depth. We're pretty good at getting pressure on the QB with stunts and blitzes, but as has been noted, a mobile QB can hurt us because our LBs tend to over run the play and take bad angles.

Grind us with the run and try and hurt us in the intermediate passing game. Take a shot or two downfield when the corners start cheating up and let your QB run for it when no one is open.

the interesting thing is imo seemingly that both teams defensive weaknesses match up with the opposing teams offensive strengths.
