Zetterberg might have won the Conn Smythe this game.
While Pittsburgh did pretty well in Face offs tonight, the really bit critical ones down the stretch virtually ALL went to Detroit and cleanly too.
3-1 Detroit and I think the last 15 seconds took 5 years off of my life.

The Wings blow, If they hadn't of lost game 3 I'd be a whole lot richer than what I will be. There just isn't any good team in tsun.

I really hate the fuckin wings, they are like the god damn patriots of the NHL. Need to tighten that salary cap or somethin.
Am proud of my pens, but I honestly think we need 2 things. A coach, and just more experience. Seen the worse coaching I have ever seen in hockey this series.

Zetterberg? really?? what did he do? play defense? If you're going to give the Conn Smythe to a defenseman then My vote goes for Lindstrom. HOwever, I think you gata give it to Osgood.
This sucks so damn bad... I'm a huge pens fan, and its pathetic that the pens shut down all detroits big guns and they let someone like hurley score on a backhander??? Personally I thought Fluery played poorly tonight. With Holmstrom out we had a chance to take the fight to them, and instead the series is looking all but over here.
Not to knock any of our fellow buckeye fans but how in the hell can you be a buckeye fan, and also root for every detroit team there is? haha We gata get you to like the Cleveland teams then you can be a pure buckeye fan! (jus messin with ya)

He's one of those guys who can control a game. His line is largely responsible for shutting down the Pens' stars. There's a reason Babcock is trying to match up Crosby and Zetterberg, and there's a reason that Therrien is trying to get away from that. Henrik is also tied with Sid for most points in the playoffs, and he has the highest +/- in the playoffs.
And for the record, I fucking hate the Red Wings and the Pens are my favorite pro franchise. But I respect the hell out of Zetterberg and his fellow linemates.

I respect all Hockey players no matter how much they piss me off when the game is being played. Anyone ever realize how much HOckey players respect each other?? Detroits players are a class act and if (more like "WHEN") they win they'll deserve it.
My point is this... Zetteberg is responsible for Crosby but him giving the Pens #1 line is not the reason they're struggling. That line if you want to be technical about it is the only line producing for the pens really (Crosby 2 goals, Hossa 1). However the reason the pens aren't winning is NO ONE ELSE is scoring. Zetterberg is not responsible for Malkin/Malone/Sykora and that's who's dropping the ball for the pens. Zetterberg is good, but he wouldn't be stopping anybody if it was for that defense they have behind him. I mean wow Lindstrom, Kronwall, Rafalski as your top 3?? I would take their bottom 3 defenders over any pens defenseman outside of Gonchar/Orpik.
When you have Stuart, Lilja, and (blanking here) thats sick as a bottom defense. Not to mention Chelios isn't playing!! God forbid if he was.
