No idea, but the fact that it doesn't currently have a GPA makes me wonder what a Great Post Award is actually for.

Clarity, thank you for this place, I looked around and never really found a forum where I could talk without the smack, crap and bile that fills the internet today. I have been here for a couple years now and I log on and post all the time, there's a lot of really cool people here, as well as a lot of douchebags (I tend to work better in a group of douchebags) and the great thing is, with the admin staff you have, we just all seem to mesh, which is awesome.

Just a few glitches in "C-Dogs" post. One, never apologize for BP not being "completely free" or "commercially unadulterated." I've been here pretty much since day 1, and never remember having to pay a cent for the great info this site provides, so the "free" part is still in play. Don't know what "commercially unadulterated" means, I'm still reading Jeff Foxworthy books and learning to speak "more better, fastly." Those words are too big for me, but if they have anything to do with my employers (LOWE'S) ads showing up, then I'm cool with that.:oh:

Second, no need to ever thank ANY of us for anything. We need to thank you, and the wonderful cast that you've surrounded yourself with "Dog." Check this out. If you go to the sites of our rivals and look at the names of the "Mega-Posters" that they have, they ALL seem to show up here when the big games arrive, and often stay for months or longer afterward. THAT is due to the environment that this place creates for others whose hearts we want to crush! Pretty impressive. :io:

Thanks to the Big-Dog always. We may not be able to "run" with you, but we will at least get off the porch and follow you wherever you take us.

50% of the drive coming from 5 people is incredible. I wish OCBF and I could afford to donate what that entails, but we do our part. I have been welcomed in this forum so warmly and so respectfully that I am astonished sometimes. The discussions are vivacious and spirited but yet so rarely do any of them devolve into the usual internet bully bullshit. And if it veers towards it, our amazing mods are on it like ..well, you know.

I am hugely happy that I became a part of this community. Anyone who comes here should donate something, even if it's just dollar. We have 435 pages of members, active an inactive. If all of those active members chucked over a buck, it would help. Keep the dream alive folks.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm glad I donated. Wish I would have in years past. I have a great sense of pride after donating.

Off-topic: I was going through my PM's yesterday, and realized I drunk PM'd deety like 2 years ago, ROFL.

I belong to a couple of those "other sites", but this is the only one where people actually respect one another, whether male or female (snarky humor aside, of course - snarky humor is one of the reasons I come here).

The misogyny on the other sites is such that I actually considered changing my user name to avoid being sneered at. After that, the environment here is sweet! (but not in an annoying way....:wink2:)

Actually it was an AIM conversation. I can't remember that far back, and there's no logs. But here's how we got in touch through AIM:
