Wrestler Hulk Hogan wins at least $115 million in sex-tape suit
A Florida jury on Friday awarded Hulk Hogan $115 million with the possibility of more after finding the Gawker website violated his privacy by publishing a sex tape of the celebrity wrestler.
After deliberating six hours, the jury awarded Hogan $60 million for emotional distress and $55 million for economic damages. They remain sequestered until Monday when the jury will consider punitive damages and other matters.
"This is a victory for everyone who has had their privacy violated," Hogan's attorney, David Houston, said.

Forde said:The problem with some Baylor backers is the problem with the JoeBots who rushed past acknowledging the Sandusky victims in order to wage war over Joe Paterno’s firing. It’s the problem with the Ohio State fans who wanted to reduce Jim Tressel’s firing years ago to an overreaction to free tattoos (you hear from fewer of those now, because Urban Meyer). It’s the problem with a faction of every college fan base that refuses to accept reality and consequences when their favorite program screws up.

Keeping this out of the Baylor thread, because the part I'm displaying doesn't have much to do with it.
I can't remember if Forde has a hard on for the Buckeyes or something of the sort, but how does he (and others of his mindset) not see the dissimilar considerations from a high level viewpoint? Pedophilia, Rape and Tattoos. One of these things is not like the other. Coupled with the reaction of the Administration (regardless of the mindless trolls in all fan bases) that took care of business in short order. How does this [Mark May] get raised as even being remotely aligned? SMH
I think this is the salient point. Forde wasn't equating the acts of the perpetrators, but the reactions of the fans to significant punishment of the football program. I still think it's a bullshit point for this very reason, but I don't think he was saying tattoos = rape = pedosI don't remember any real active factions of tOSU fans who campaigned to have Tressel reinstated or made a huge fuss at all, to be honest. Am I forgetting something, or is Forde making [Mark May] up here?
