Good God that's a narcissistic pile o' crap article. I hate it when "journalists" project their own personal hangups into a story. The more irritating thing though is this feeling that not only does everyone have an unlimited right to be limitlessly himself or herself but that everybody else has to like them for it. I do generally agree that "thug" is pretty much code for "dickhead who happens to be black" in many instances.

You can thank the Hip-Hop community for that. 2Pac, Trick Daddy, and countless others have songs claiming to be a thug as it is a badge of honor.

Been watchin' this guy's AP ballot all season. Every week he seems to put some stupid shit out there. He left the Irish out of the Top 10, even at 6-0, until they lost to FSU, and had them between 15-20 up to that point. He also had Marshall in his Top 25 even when they were just 3-0, he had A&M in his Top 25 until this week despite 3 straight losses (He says they would be the 2nd best team if they were in the B1G), and still had South Carolina in his Top 25 up until a week or two ago. This week he's got tOSU just above 3 loss USC and Stanford. Oh yeah, and he's part of Detroit Free Press (scUM grad), which probably explains a bit.
