What?Misanthrope said:I love when Ohio State "football fans" show their true colors when traditional basketball powers like Carolina and Kentucky play.
Nothing like seasonal "die hard" Buckeye fans.
I was yelling his foot was on the line before the refs even decided to review it.Alan said:you are the only one who is stumping on an opinion that was proven incorrect....the 5 milllion replays of the shot you said sparks had his foot on the line....
you are the one who doesnt know his own ass from a hole in the ground...
I'm impressed with your restraint on an issue that is so close to you (being a UK fan). My opinion on the play is that the referees swallowed the whistle at the end of regulation (not at all uncommon) and that the foul MAY have very well ensured that the outcome resulted in a three point basket. I don't know if it was a three or not but it was the right call because I think that, for the integrity of the game, the refs HAD to let the teams decide the game in overtime.jlb1705 said:Did Sparks get hit on the arm? Yes.
Were they ever in a million years going to make that call? No.
Why not? For the same reason they were never in a million years going to call that shot a two instead of a three. The refs don't want to put the outcome in their own hands like that.
Is that right or wrong? Beats the **** out of me!
haha! You better believe I'm not happy about that!As it is, if I was a Kentucky fan, I'd be more angry about not getting a shot off at the end of the first overtime.
