I'll probably be going away for a little while after this but...
This game has been an absolute abortion offensively. No other way to put it. The coaches (Playcalling??... Bollman??) weren't "out coached" or "out played" because its quite clear they're aren't ready or are no longer able to effective.
I have literally seen ZERO adjustments to what Sparty has done defensively. Which, from my vantage point and everyone who owns a TV is quite clear. Get after the QB.
No bubble screens, slants, quick outs. Nothing of the sort. NOTHING to assist a young QB and a young offense. The Oline plays without discpline and intensity save for a couple plays here and there. Their coaching and development too has long been an achilles heel.
This is a coaching failure on par with the 2007 Championship Game against Florida which I long considered the most nightmarish experience since I can first remember watching football.
I thought 2004 was bad. This could be worse.
Good luck to this young team. But we need a spark I'm not sure we can get right now.
