Their strength is the passing game and Cousins. This is not a typical physical Sparty team and that should help us immensley. We should be able to squeak out a win.
But it will be tense. Go Bucks! :oh:

Sparty was weak on the OL before losing 2-3 guys to injury.

What's even more notable is their struggles along the DL, despite returning nearly everyone. Jones & Gordon were enormous losses behind them.

We all know the Defense is good enough against Sparty, but the Offense must score points to win the game. I know the game will come down to how many points our Offense scores.

As jimotis4heisman always points out. The "major key" to winning the game is to score more points than the other team. Keep in mind that the ponts scored by the defense and special teams count just as much on the scoreboard as the points scored by the offense. :biggrin:

Here we go...really tough four game stretch. Hopefully we can take care of business at home. It's really hard for me to see us winning all four of these, but I can see us winning this one...and then with a few more players coming back, maybe the Buckeye offense can gain some life.

Early prediction is it's a very sloppy game for both teams. We win the turnover battle though and score off those. Ohio State 13 Michigan State 10

I don't give a damn how we win, but this is a must win. My gut tells me that this is a coin flip. This is Fickell's first Big Ten game. If they can pull this one out and be 4-1 heading into Nebraska, then suddenly you start to think that this team is finding some of their new generation of athletes.

I just don't think we have it yet, but for the first time this season I am starting to think that maybe this team is going to find their identity about 3 games too late this season, which is okay. All of this said, I think Sparty is going to win on Saturday, but not by very much.

I also think it will be the only game we lose in the Shoe this season. (Yeah, Wisconsin.......hear that?).

If we only lose one game at home this season, I'd choose this one! But, I'd rather not lose any.

I just remember thinking "dammit, flag on the play, I bet they were offsides." Then they called it on MSU for illegal formation.
