Getting excited for Terrell....
Saturday, 8 p.m. Eastern time, is one of the reasons TP came to The Ohio State University. He will be playing on a national stage, against one of the greatest teams in CFB history, and one of the most dominant teams in CFB over the past 8 yrs. He will also be wearing the scarlet and gray jersey representing the team that he has grown to love, also a team great in gridiron tradition and one of the most dominiate teams in CFB over the last 8 yrs.
TP's love for his school, is literally tattooed on his arm and seen in his smile every time he's asked why he committed to tOSU instead of teams like Penn State, scUM and USC.
You see, TP has a dream. And TP is on a mission. Last year he was baptized early on when he was asked to play against a veteran, star laddened USC team. Yet even in the loss, you could not help but think, "wait until next year at the 'Shoe."
Well, next year is here! That was then. This is now. TP now has a full year under his belt and has worked EVERY DAY trying to make himself better. Better at his mechanics. Better at reading coverages. Better at throwing the ball. Better at making decisions. Yes, his surrounding cast is a bit different, and it is a team game, but make no mistake about it: For TP this one is personal. He has something to prove and he knows that all eyes will be watching to see how he performs.
And this is exactly how he likes it!! I'm glad the media is telling all that will listen that tOSU does not stand a chance against the mighty Trojans. There's nothing TP likes more than proving people wrong. Last year he was devasted as a Freshman in the loss to Penn State in his own house. You've got to know that TP has vowed to never let something like that happen again. NOT ON HIS WATCH. NOT IN HIS HOUSE. AND NOT WITH SO MUCH AT STAKE. He has taken to heart the words "OUR HONOR DEFEND!!"
I'm getting excited thinking about Terrelle and how he is going to rise to the challenge underneath the lights, in the greatest stadium in CFB.
GO BUCKS!!
Beat USC!
