Beard is full and combed. I didn't start growing it last year until three days before the USC game. It's been growing for three weeks now. I called a random phone number in southern california last night. Dude answered, said "hello". I said "you a trojan fan"?. "Yeah". Then I rubbed the phone on my beard. He started crying and I'm pretty sure he shot himself in the face.

GO BUCKS!

What have you grown today to beat SC?

That's fine, and I understand the idea, I just don't think Wells is worth 32 points. And as far as I recall, Beanie didn't play defense  I could see the argument if it was a much closer game that he would have made the difference... I just think that with USC's defense last year, with that linebacker corps, there wasn't going to be much happening either way.

Are you really that dense? First off, if we had Beanie we score TDs on both of our first-half drives where we were first-and-goal, vice a FG and a missed FG. Boeckman likely isn't forced to pass as much and likely doesn't throw that pick-6 to Mauluga. The 21-3 halftime lead for USC now is a 14-14 tie, setting up an entirely different second half. So, yeah, having Beanie might've been worth 18-point turnaround in the first half alone.

So today I was driving around town and saw a group of kids wearing USC gear so I ran them over.....and laughed about it.

I punched some fucker wearing a U of Chicago Graduate School of Business t-shirt because it was maroon. He threw his calculator back at me. I caught it, laughed and told him that I needed a new RPN calculator anyhow.

Unless Beanie's TDs are also called back for holding :wink2:

Rob Harley's previews usually don't. He clearly wants a big-time TV job, so he's very keen to prove that he can be ESPN-caliber "objective".

Which isn't hard to do... Look at Mark May... Just say you hate teams, and your good in their books. Or Lou Holtz, just say Ohio State will be in the National Championship and eventually, you WILL be right! GO BUCKS! :oh:

Maybe-Maybe not

Beannie could of made huge differance in the game or a very small differance, but we will never know... But it is fair to say that it is always better to have all your weapons when you are heading into a war..

Hello Buckeye World,

I'm a Cali Blogger who just arrived in your great city of Columbus. I just want to really say; that the passion in this city for OSU lives up to its rep. The sea of red EVERYWHERE is so unreal.. I am a Los Angeles native, but I'm from NY. It's so suprising to me when I hear other states/cities become so surprised on how well USC plays nonconference games. I guess you have to leave there to understand. Sports in general in Cali are HUGE. The Trojans are invited to every party/club that the Lakers attend. Believe it or not if Matt B. wanted to go the playboy big house with Lamor Odom and Artest or to the Grammy's with a super model it will probably happen.

I'm sorry to tell you, but please be warned that the young QB for USC is going to shock the red out of you. I'm not saying he's Carson or Favre or that he would not make any mistakes. I am just saying he will be prepared and ready to handle and embrass the moment. If he makes mistakes it will not be because hes a freshman it will be because the buckeye d made a play.

Mark Kriegel looks like a rapist

He looks like a rapist because he IS a rapist...

At 19, Barkley's belief seems unshakable, if unchallenged. Nothing seems to crack his composure, or diminish his happy expression. His smile remains ready, and those placid blue eyes register no threat. "I'm not feeling any pressure," he said.

Can someone say MAN CRUSH?

Welcome to Buckeye Planet. I think the major reason people are talking about taking advantage of Barkley is because of his comments. He likened playing at the 'Shoe to playing a 7th grade game. No offense to Oregon State, but this isn't Autzen Stadium. We have over 40,000 more fans packed in there. We also have taken incredibly good QB's and made them look like a 1 star recruit when they first play. I'm sure he's ready. But we won't find out how much Ohio State affects him until after he's eaten Ohio Stadium turf a couple of times. He still might complete the pass, but he'll be on the turf.

Better seats: 5c or 32b?

I've never sat in either section.

Pretty similar but I think 5c gives you a view of more of the field.

Win the turnover battle. If we can just win the turnover battle, I really like the Buckeyes to win this game. On the other hand, if we're losing the turnover margin, our chances greatly diminish. Probably could be filed under "No Shit", but I think it will be the most important part of this game.
