That's too bad :pIs he expected to be fine in a few days?

For what it's worth, I heard on ESPN Radio this morning that Corp's injury was healing very well, and that he is expected to return to pracitice sooner than originally anitcipated.

Hopefully, he's healthy and ready to go come September 12th. I'd prefer to see how this OSU defense stacks up against a QB such as Corp.

I heard the same from Penn State about Maybin. We shut Maybin down with our left tackle. Who is extremely athletic.

Charles Brown is one of the best LT's in college football right now, extremely athletic and very strong.

Gibson will need to rotate from WDE to SDE all night long in this game, Charles Brown is athletic enough to hang with Gibson. I would actually prefer and expect to see Cam Heyward battle it out with Brown most of the evening, which should be an interesting battle to watch.

Although, in minor defense of Penn State in the Rose Bowl, Maybin was distruptive in the first half of that game. He had one 3rd down penalty where he lined up in the nuetral zone, which negated his sack, and gave the ball back to USC. Other than that, at least in the first 2 quarters, Maybin was forcing Sanchez to move around an awful lot in the pocket.

i see good pressure at times he just gets rid of the ball so quick.

so glad hes not there this year

I watched about 3:30 of it and saw pressure over the LT spot twice. Both times it was a blitz that overloaded the side.

Not that it matters now.

Watching that film, Sanchez got rid of the ball so quickly. He seemed to know right where he was going to throw it on his first read and did so immediately. That's tough to create pressure on since the ball is in air by the time the d-line has even a remote chance of getting to him. Impressive indeed. Let's hope Corp/Barkley/Mustain are not similarly gifted this year.

PSU's secondary has been a weakness for years. Last year was no exception, they just didn't play many good passing QBs. There were a lot of openings vs PSU, but Pryor wasn't seeing the whole field very well at that stage in his career.
