Another fun antecdote.

Our version of Woody Hayes is Vince Dooley. He's the all time wins leader at Georgia and led the Athletic Department for many successful years after his retirement from coaching. He's also won the SEC 6 times and the National Title in 1980.

Early in his career, Dooley wanted some help on the proper way to build a staff around him. Hayes was going to be speaking in Atlanta for some type of event and Dooley phoned him ahead of time to see if he would extend his trip for a day to discuss proper staff hiring and development.
Hayes said "Only on one condition - if your wife is kind enough to cook a home cooked meal and I can have dinner with your family."

Apparently - Woody loathed hotel food. Mrs. Dooley fixed country fried steak and Coach Hayes stayed an extra day for another meal and to allow Coach Dooley to pick his brain.

2 years later - Vince Dooley and some new staff members lead the Dawgs over Bear Bryant and Alabama for his first SEC title.:highfive:

Yes I am a Longhorn fan first and foremost, but after the home and home series with tOSU I became a huge Buckeye fan. I can't wait to see Terrelle Pryor with 4-5 games under his belt.

I'm not one for second favorites, but I completely understand what you are saying. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the Texas program and fans after our series. I wouldn't mind seeing Texas kick some ass every year, especially since you aren't playing the bucks.

Hook 'em!
