Hey Everyone! Been looking for an alternative/more reasonable, buckeye forum to bucknuts for a while and I think I have finally found a home. I'll be a freshman at THE Ohio State University this fall and can't wait to experience the golden years of Ohio State football first hand. :oh:
:io: and not just football... I think as long as Matta is around this will be a golden Hoops era as well. Welcome aboard!

Hawkeye Fan Rootin' For The Buckeyes

Here's hoping the Buckeyes give the Trojans a whuppin'. OSU is carrying the Big Ten these days. A thrashing of USC would shut up the Big Ten bashers out there as well as the OSU bashers. Get out there and take care of business, Buckeyes! Best of luck!

Justin from Denver..new 'round these parts but scarlet and grey through and through! I can't tell you how many games after which I've jumped around like a fanatic, blasting the fight song and blowing speakers in the process  Here's to buying yet another set!!

Thank the good Lord I finally found a Buckeye forum. All the other places don't compare to what I've seen here at Buckeye Planet.

I'm an 18 year old Toronto high school student who fell in love with the Buckeyes 6 years ago. I have been a fan ever since, you can also find me bleeding red and blue of the Toronto Raptors and the Dallas Cowboys on game day.

I hope to see you guys around, and eventually one day at The Horseshoe!

welcome, Brandon. I spent last weekend (Labour Day) in Toronto. Great place! Camped at Bronte Creek PP near Oakville. Found a great Polish Bakery a little west of Mavis on Dundas.... then went to the Falls for the first time ever.

Except for your expensive gasoline, we loved it.
Like to go camping up in Algonquin too. Beautiful up there.

Just can't get much Buckeye News!!!

Lol, unfortunately, not many Americans know the beauty of Canada(Out East in Nova Scotia is beautiful.) Many still believe it snows all year round.

And yes, gas prices up here are unreal, they rose again over night and really making people think twice about driving to work. Glad you liked your stay, and come back. I went down to Michigan for the NASCAR race a couple weeks ago and loved it, the people are great, sadly, there are WAY to many UM fans there .

Buckeye fan from England

Hello there, yes im from England and I like the Buckeyes. I can guarentee im the only buckeye fan in my town. Anyway just want to introduce myself.

I became a fan after visiting Columbus Ohio on my travels. Ive been there 4 times in the last 2 years and made lots of friends. Obviously the city were big on the whole buckeye thing so a the saying goes "when in rome.."
I watched games on the TV there, would liked to have gone but the times I was there the team were always playing away.
Up to now I would be looking out for results on the internet and hearing reports from a few of my friends. But now thanks to NASN im able to watch the Buckeyes live, and also able to catch up on news leading up to games and the aftermath of any game. I watched the game last week Vs Ohio.
From what ive been seeing this week the so called sports pundits, who lets face it think there experts but their not. Theyy seem to think the buckeyes dont have a chance this week, mainly because they didnt win by a huge margin in their last game. But being a Manchester United fan I can say that a sign of a good team is one that doesnt perform to their best but still manages to win. Id rather get a win playing badly then play brilliant and being an unlucky loser. So despite what these so called pundits think, from what ive seen myself I think the buckeyes are going to win, besides their now classed as the underdogs to win this game which puts the pressure on the home team.

Well thats enough of me, Il be watching tonight at 1am and hoping to be on this forum a lot more in the future

Cheers
Jack:osu:

Welcome BuckeyeEngland, glad to see the Bucks have fans all over the globe. Many good points about the "experts" and about a good team finding a way to win when they play bad. I'm glad you're able to see the Bucks on tv, root hard, come 11 pm EST maybe you'll hear the roar from Columbus as the clock ticks off the final seconds of the Buckeye victory.
