Sound Off !!! - Introduce Yourself

I am a life long Buckeye fan. Born and raised in C-bus, class of 95' at Whitehall Yearling High School. Our baseball team had a booster concession stand at Ohio Stadium so I was able to go the home games while in school.

I am currently enrolled in a local community college where I am pursuing a Nursing degree. I still dream of being able to attend tOSU for at least some graduate degree. But now I am just taking one semester at a time.

I have lived in a SE Fichigan town for the last ten years. When I lived in C-bus I don't remember the hatred that I now have for scUM. The fans up here are horrendous pieces of weasel crap. I listen to Detroit and AA radio stations periodically and I am always blown away by how wishy washy they are. One week its Ron English is a savior, then the next week they are screaming to get him out of town. Carr and Henne are 'Gods' then they suck.

My favorite Buckeye from childhood is probably Spielman. However, living up here I was worried about my son making his choice between his father's Buckeyes and the majority of his friends' scUM. Right around the time my son starting playing flag football in the community is when AJ, Anthony, and Bobby were tearing up the opposing offenses. So I have to say that those three are my favorite Buckeyes because they hooked my son to be a Buckeye fan and to be proud enough to wear his jerseys and scarlet and gray to school where he is picked on for it occasionally.

I suppose I could introduce myself..

I'm Casey..born in Ohio but raised in NW Florida (Pensacola), which is also SEC country (I almost went to Auburn..)..I kind of chose Ohio State on a whim after I visited my dad who still lives in Toledo and I fell in love with it. It was a combo of wanting to get away from home and loving OSU. I came in as the class of 2010 but I was moved down to the class of 2009. I may have to add a minor so I can stay here a bit longer..3 years is far too short of a stay at OSU :)

I am now a complete nut (pun intended) about OSU and everything related. I am in Block O and go to pretty much every sporting event and have a blast cheering the Bucks on.

Nice to meet you all :)

I guess I should say a few things here huh? The name is Brian, I'm 32 yrs old and live about 1.5 hours southwest of Indy. I'm married (for a little bit longer..lol) and have two kids. I've been a firefighter/paramedic for almost 7 years now and love it. I usualy make it to about 5 football games and around 10-15 basketball games a year. I'm always at the road games at IU and Purdue. Been a lifelong Buckeye fan and couldn't EVER see me supporting another program. Great site and I look forward to getting to know everyone and doing some tailgating next season!

One more Star To Line Up For Our Buckeyes

Hi,
I'm new to the board and just wanted to share the joy over the planets aligning so well for our football team and the NC. Keep the positive karma thoughts going.

The sooners win and we are in.

Go Buckeyes!

P.S. I'll get avatars, etc. later.:osu3:

Hi, my name is Bernini. The name part of Bernini is Bern. Bern derives from my middle name, which is Bernard. My first name is Eric. My last name is......none of your damn business. :)

I've posted on BP occasionally for a year and half to two years....as you can see. I am a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers' basketball and football programs primarily, who was attracted to BP in order to: defend, inform, and take advantage of the user friendly format. Don't go to UW-Madison actually, but UW-Milwaukee specifically, where I major in Criminal Justice, and will graduate with my Bachelor's this semester. Ultimately aspire to be a detective. Grew up with the ingrained affinity for the Badgers. Used to support Miami, because they participated in the first football game I ever saw (FSU v. Miami), when I was about 5-6 years old. Now I don't have many rooting interests outside of the state of Wisconsin. I'm an avid supporter of: the Milwaukee Bucks, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and USMNT (soccer).

In addition to sports I'm passionate about music (various forms of rock mostly) and philosophy.

Also the moderator of the Wisconsin Badgers' forum on BP's affiliate RecruitingPlanet.
