I've said that before, but mostly during the Cooper years!

I'm CapnStubby (aka Dave) and I obtained my nickname from many trips to Put-n-Bay and contrary to popular belief not as a result of any part of my anatomy.

I have been in and around this site for a couple years now. I have been a Buckeye fan since I was a small child and we are all forced by one event or another to pick a side. I equate the realization that you are either a Buckeye or a Wooligan to a young man's realization that in fact he does have homosexual tendencies (not that there's anything wrong with that) and as it turns out I do not have any, so I'm a Buckeye.

Growing up in and around Toledo, with tSUN just 45 minutes away, you would think that we were a suburb. The number of tSUN faithful is astronomical. I have close friends and relatives that are die hard Muck fans and everybody and their brother wearing those crazy colors. Most of them could not tell you who the Wooligans were playing this weekend but that doesn't much matter. It's getting crazy around here right now and I'm loving it!

My wife and I make at least one game per year and possibly a trip to a bowl game but we haven't made that trip since the Alamo Bowl. Even though I have a wonderful HD TV with BTN you can find us at the Perrysburg BWW every Saturday (that we're not in C-bus) watching the game with other Buckeye fans. Most of which we do not know but that's what makes it great!

Hello from Charlotte

So I found this forum today, joined and wanted to say hello to all the buckeyes and introduce myself.

My name is Ron Buffington, lived in Columbus from 1975-1998, attended Dublin High School, majored in Communications at Ohio State and bleed scarlet and grey like most on here.

Currently I reside in Charlotte, NC and like it very much. Charlotte and Columbus are quite similar logistically, but they have no clue about college rivalry or tailgating here.

I have considered moving back many times, but the weather is so nice, and it is really cool being 3 hours from the beach, 4 from Hilton Head, 7 from Daytona, etc, etc.

I work in the automotive industry as service manager of a Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership and worked for MAG in Columbus for 3.5 years before heading south. I am also very into high end audio/video and high end car audio so if I can be of any help over the net to members feel free to hit me up.

2 more games and we get another shot at the title.

Been a member for over a year; however, I don't post frequently. Thought I'd finally shoot out a brief introduction. I was born in Defiance, OH, raised for some golden years of my childhood an hour south of Canton. My dad is an Ohio native. I now reside in Burbank, CA as a super struggling freelance editor. I love this forum dearly - both for the savvy analysis, the hilarious troll postings, but most of all for the passion and loyalty on display here from the Buckeye Nation.

I'm not sure I ever stopped in here to say "Hi" since I registered. Thought this week was as good a time as any.

Thanks to the forum for the nice birthday greeting last month. It was thoughtful of you.

Go Bucks! The only downside to beating wishagin is that it may indeed be the end of LLLLLloyd. Do it anyway! :oh:

Greeting and salutations on this week of all weeks for Buckeye fans. Been lurking on this forum for a while now. Actually came here because I was getting a lot of good information on the BTN from it and then found a whole lot more than just that.

Love talking buckeye football (should have registered earlier). Here I am though ready to start talking.

Oh I almost forgot... Michigan sucks!

Is that a ROSE in Beanies????

We may have a chance at the national title, don't start smelling the roses yet??? This has been anything but a typical football season, we have all seen that. If a few key teams lose next week and the week after...................... hey, anything is possible.
