Sound Off !!! - Introduce Yourself

Born in Lebanon, attended St.Xavier HS in Cincinnati. Graduated from OSU in 97', got my Masters from Miami in 99'. I live in Kettering now and teach government at Catholic school in the Dayton area and also work a little bit w/ the football program. My dad never went to any games, but he lived next door to Jack Tatum in Stradley, and hung out w/ a whole bunch of players from the 65,66,67' teams.

born in alvada, ohio and attended vanlue high school. while i was there, we were the smallest public school in OH to have a football program. recently graduated from a small college in the NE corner of IN with bs's in mechanical engineering and engineering administration with minors in math and business. applied for the hc job at vanlue, but was turned down. other then that... alice in chains is the greatest band ever. oh, and i could probably beat anyone here in tecmo super bowl using the bengals. favorite movie is the royal tenenbaums.

I am 15 and I am currently going to Springboro HS in Ohio. I am on the football team, but I have a disease called Cerebral Palsy which effects my legs and makes it hard to walk or run long distances, so I can't play football. Since I can't play, I am the Assistant Defensive Coordinator, and we had the #1 defense in our league.

Even though I have Cerebral Palsy it is my dream to play football. I am currently undergoing training to try to get over my disease enough to where I can play.

I've been an OSU fan ever since I was born, but I have never been to a Buckeyes game. Its kind of weird because I have Bengals season tickets but I can't get ahold of Buckeyes tickets.

I was born in Middletown, Ohio. I'm 31 yrs old and live in Huber Heights, Oh. I have three daughters and a beautiful wife. My favorite Buckeye is Cris Carter, for obvious reasons. I followed a link from BNuts and found this site and all I can say is WOW! I wish someone had told me about this place during the mass exodus from BNuts. I didn't start following the Buckeyes hardcore until the ASU v OSU Rose Bowl, although I had watched a few games here and there. It was the first football game I had ever been to and I have been hooked ever since.

well, i don't have too many posts here on Buckeye Planet, but i think i am member #64... been hanging out here for a while... 3200+ posts on BN, so i guess i'm one of the 'old school' from over there... born at Riverside Hospital, both parents from the Cleveland Area...i grew up in Pickerington, and have been a Buckeye since conception- my father worked for the University in the late '60s and is one of two surviving people with a Woody Hayes engraved piece of the goal post from the 11/23/68 beatdown of scUM... if anyone wants, i'll post up the story...

i currently live in Las Vegas...

-edit-
oh, here's an interesting tidbit... my mother grew up in Berea, and lived a couple blocks over from the Tressels (i can walk from my grandmother's house to Baldwin Wallace in about 3 minutes)... she actually STOLE JIM TRESSEL'S BIKE one day at the Berea Pool, when she mistook it for her brother's bike...

Born in Lima. Moved all around west central Ohio and graduated from Ridgemont High School in 2000. Just graduated from the University of Findlay. Born a Buckeye screaming "O-H" straight outta the womb. I've had connections for season tickets in basketball since the early-90's and football for the last 4 seasons...so I attend the games whenever I can talk my dad out of tickets (which is more than you might think when the price is right  )

I've been a Bucknuts poster for awhile, so I've gotta get used to starting all over at 0 posts!

I have been a Buckeye fan for as long as I can remember, I have been going to home games with my parents and their season tickets for as long as I can remember, and I have lived in columbus for my hole life. I Graduated from Upper Arlington in 2003 and was a memeber of the 2000 State championship team with Simon Fraser and Jeff Backes leading the way. I just found this site in March and so far a day hasn't gone by that I haven't checked it so I hope that we can keep it going.

Thank God for an independent Buckeye site

I wondered what happened to most of you guys. It was wonderful (at least to me) to read your dialogue with the honest give and take debate. It was like a Friday night out with the guys talking what we like best (Ohio State football). I am just grateful that I discovered the site. To see and read Mili's post again is like finding water in the desert. Just a Go-Bucks. Long live the Buckeye Nation where ever they may be.

Originally from Sidney, Ohio, I'm a 1998 grad of OSU w/ a BS in Chemical Engineering. I've been a Buckeye fan as long as I can remember...back when Art Schlichter was a hero not a felon. Mom is an alum and Dad went there for a couple years.

I lived in Ohio all my life until the fall of 2000 when I took a process engineering job out west working on making the Pentium chips I hope you are all using. Since then I've bounced around between Phoenix, Santa Clara, and Portland (where I'm at right now). I'm stuck here until next summer when I get to go back home to Phoenix.

I couldn't believe it when the Bucks made the title game in 2002...and me living in Phoenix...how could I not go? Of all the years for them to make it that was just an amazing thing. It was great to see all the Buckeye faithful come to town and show the Phoenicians what real college football is all about. So many remarked to me that they had never seen anything like that for previous Fiesta Bowls.

I hope to make it home some day...but that is a few years off at least.

Ah, I finally plunged into the Buckeye Planet! I migrated here from BuckeyeSports.com, where I've somehow accumulated 4,400 posts on a very slow board. I also lurk on the Ozone and Bucknuts.

I'm a lifelong Buckeye fan and have lived in Columbus 26/27 years of my life (one year in Cleveland where I attended Baldwin-Wallace before I transferred to OSU). I'm a graduate of THE Ohio State University in 2000.

My current goal is to attend one away game a year at a different location. 2 years ago I went to Illinois, for that awesome OT game! And last year I managed to go to the Fiesta Bowl vs K-State. I've attended more OSU home games than I can possibly remember!

Favorite Buckeyes: Spielman, Pace, George, Doss, Winfield, Germaine, Krenzel.

I was born and raised in Brecksville, OH, up by Cleveland. Grew up a fan of all Cleveland and OSU sports.

I came to OSU in 94 studying Molecular Genetics...got 4 years in and decided to pick up Computer Science. Graduated in 2000 with degrees in both.

I played trumpet as a member of TBDBITL during the 95-97 seasons.

My wife and I currently reside on the northeast side of Columbus, and I'm glad to join the planet!

When I first read this I thought you were Craig Krenzel then I read the part about playing the trumpet in the band.

Welcome to the best Buckeye board going.
