I'm a current tOSU student, lifelong fan. I'm from a very large tOSU alumn family and will hopefully be continuing that tradition with my kids some day.
I'm from the Dayton area and am more than pleased to be living in Columbus.
I'm was a rookie in TBDBITL this most recent year and hope to become a 2nd year this upcoming tryouts. My family also has a tradition of band members (father, 2 uncles, 1 aunt) and this is yet another family tradition I hope to pass on one day.
In adition to being a Buckeye fan I am a very large Cincinnati fan, and will continue to be throughout my life no matter how bad things get, even though the Bengals are making it very tough for me right now (Tank Johnson, half the USC LB corps and Mogan Trent??? REALLY? MORGAN TRENT?!).
My favorite sports are (in order): College Football; Professional Baseball (all levels); College Basketball; Professional Football; Pro Hockey (all levels). And I firmly believe the NBA can go to hell.
I've never been part of a message board before, but my roommate is a fan of the site, thought I'd give it a try and I haven't regretted it for a moment.

I played div 2 football here at Bloomsberg Un.in Pa From 99-02. Never had the big dogs offer, Well i faced i just wasnt good enough. I do have great respect for OSU football and am not here to cause conflict, My family have been season ticket holders for Penn State for 30 years. I will admit im still a little sour about the T.Priyor deal but hey,OSU has been doing very well gettin the Pa boys lately! I do belive the worlds greatest football players come for Pennsylvania and Ohio. Well see yas around!

I found this great site while looking for information on the Buckeyes.
I've been a Buckeye fan since 1983/84 when I were an exchange student to Gahanna Lincoln. Since football was just about unknown in Sweden at that time it was a fantastic experience to get to know the game. I became a big football fan immediately. It would have been a perfect sport for me since I'm built like a stay at home defenceman/power forward 6'3" and 250 lbs (the distribution on the body might take some work to get right though).
Since I'm from Sweden I grew up with soccer and played for the Lions during my year there.
I went with the Rotary program as an exchange student and stayed in three families (the Lagemans, the Mckennas and the Blacks). itruly enyoyed my year over there but has never had the opportunity to come back to Ohio.
After I got home information on football was hard to come by, but with the Internet it has became easier. Now I try to follow everything about tOSU football.
I'm 43 now and has a masters degree in civil engineering and I'm working in the road maintenance sector.
I have a wife and three kids (girl 12, girl 9 and boy 3).
I live in Kristianstad and we have one of Swedens best junior football teams and I believe that we are going to send three players to the junor world championship.
as a Swede I'm also a hockey fan and my team in the NHL is the red wings.
Welcome to BP! glad to see someone overseas spreading the good word of college football! keep up the good work!bigswede;1461651; said:Hi
