Songs you're almost too embarrased to admit you like

My favorite bands are Sex Pistols, Ramones, Clash, Stooges, Velvet Underground, early Stones and Beatles, lots of LA punk (Social Distortion, Germs, Vandals, Adolescents, etc.) - basically, anything loud, hard, and fast. But ... for some unknown reason ... I also like ... Steely Dan, especially Do It Again. I even have their Greatest Hits double album on gold vinyl. :banger:

Yeah, I know, pretty lame....

I don't like Steeley Dan, but those other picks, especially the Velvet Underground and Social D....ohh yeah...nice.

Ok, I'm gonna say this, but only 'cause I'm kinda drunk...

I kinda like Neil Diamond.

Cracklin' Rosie is a great song...

I like the Carpenters too...

I don't think anybody should be ashamed for liking a certain type of music. I've got everything from Roy Orbison to Ministry in my collection. I like Sinatra, Mozart, Godsmack, the Beach Boys, Black Sabbath etc...etc. I don't like rap or country, but there's even a few of those I like. I guess I will say Abba to keep with the topic...

Can't say I'm embarrassed about any songs or groups that I like...but I probably take the most shit for Styx - "I'm Sailing Away". I don't care though, that song kicks ass. Carman's version is pretty good too, but not as good as Styx. Now I'm in sandgk's shoes, because I'll be singing it all day...
