So Is it worth buying this year or just another crappy copy? I've heard both opinions on it...
You can find opinions in this thread. It seems as though most such reviews state that the gameplay is great, but that a number of the franchise features need to be improved.

Franchise Mode- 2/10
This is where EA Fails. The scouting feature that they touted doesn't reveal any additional information about a player. When you import a draft class, skill posiition players still lose 8-10 points off speed, while MLB's still have their ratings neutered and are never drafted before the 5th round. Progression is still weak, as I threw for 4,000 yards and 30 TD's with 69 ovr. Troy Smith (Testing things out), and he didn't gain any attribute boosts. In fact, any attributes whatsoever were either small or unnoticable.
I bought Madden yesterday (for 360), started a franchise, imported a draft class, simmed the first season, and drafted Darren McFadden. He was 86 overall with 92 speed (95 in NCAA). Mario Manningham had 90 speed (95 in NCAA), Derrick Williams had 92 speed (95), Ray Rice 86 (93), Ian Johnson 88 (92), other skill position players were in the mid-80s to 90s. Jasper Brinkley (MLB from S. Carolina) was drafted in the early 2nd and was 73 overall, Dan Connor went in the 1st and was 78 overall.

Troy Smith threw for 3,018 yards, 24 TDs, and 8 INTs for Baltimore. He started the next season 71 overall. Marshawn Lynch also went from 83 overall to 86 overall, Joseph Addai was +3 overall, Laurence Maroney was +3 overall, Matt Leinart and Vince Young were +3 overall, Jay Cutler was +4, Santonio Holmes was +3, I could go on, but those were the most significient changes that I saw from the players near the top of the list.

So...

Is anyone else sick of playing Madden online against people who constantly pick Dallas, Pats, San diego? :pissed: Maybe I just suck balls but it's pretty difficult to have a chance to beat any of those teams when you use someone like the Browns. Anyone else have issues with this or is it just me?

Just you. I do fine with Alex Smith and the Niners.

HA!!!!

Probably not, I cant even beat the computer with Cleveland. Plus I here there is a lot of cheating and glitching this year. Like the HB pass?
I just hate it when people use dallas and roll romo out to run on every freaking play and then pass outs to TO everytime you try to tackle romo.

I'm doing ok I'm like 16-17 record wise and all I use is Cleveland.
