Buckeye Nation and Birm right about now

Not to be a hater, but did Birm really do much besides provide a summary of the day's Ohio State recruiting centric Twitter [Zeke] each evening?
I think he did much more than that, but it's become pretty obvious that Buckeye Nation craves that kind of aggregation from anyone. Teddy became a rock star on the boards because he was informed on virtually everything and was able to collect it for people who didn't have hours to waste on various websites and social mediums each day.

11W has mastered the art of aggregation, with some interesting columns as well as a good amount of repackaged stuff. It seems like they revisit the same topic quite often in the offseason, with frequent articles rehashing the WRs who need to step up in the fall. They also have some great original stuff as well, I'm simply talking about the audience's hunger for being spoonfed, even if it's the same meal.

Bill Greene has made the scout populace much happier by giving status updates much more often, even if a good bulk of the content has not really changed. That's not a criticism of him at all, as he's the best in the business and has great info, but sometimes the big board looks about the same as the last update, especially in the slower periods. Having it all organized in one spot really makes people happy.

I agree, much respect for the aggregation- even if that's all it was that is still a ton of effort to consistently keep up every day.

I recognize that Birm had a lot of inside knowledge and solid connections with recruits; however, he was a true professional and was very coy about sharing it most of the time- which was necessary to not burn sources.

I stopped reading the nightly summaries- I instead focused on the profiles and any updates in the comment section.

Either way, Birm worked very hard.

The crowd source aggregation around here (thank you @MD Buckeye @Smudger @wadc45, sorry if I'm missing anyone) is great as well.

My first sports during the day is usually Cleveland.com/sports just because I am a Cleveland native. Anyhow, many of the articles on 11W are very similar to articles that I have read on Cleveland.com regarding Ohio State and I think I know that the articles on Cleveland.com have come before the articles on 11W.
