Smart Car to US...Finally!

Ugh! Ever own a Fiat? Mine was so prone to engine fires a fire extinguisher became a must have in the car! (the wife wanted one, I wanted a Saab Sonnet)

My brother-in-law burned his Fiat to the ground and pumped a hundred gallons of gas onto the fire. Lost the car and the gas station wanted him to pay for the gas. That was in 1969 when gas was $.35 per gallon, cost $35. If that fire ocurred today, cost over $350.

Do you and your wife laugh at Harleys when you pass them doing 80 on I-94? I'd much rather be in a Smart Car than on a Harley if I hit something at 35 MPH.
