Single Game Football Tickets Tips

Yep, once there you click on tickets - public buy tickets - football. Once they put the tickets on sale the Kent State game will appear on that football page. Online you can get the best available, but if you don't like what it gives you you can call them and talk to a live person that may be able to help you find something "better" than the best available (40 yard line C deck rather than end zone AA deck)

If you live in Columbus, you can also stop by the ticket office to buy them in person. That will guarantee you getting the best seats available.

Ya Im in Canton so my best bet is online and/or calling them. Thanks again though, hopefully I can make it down there.

Was looking at Hangonsloopy... one of the tickets I found came up as "box seats". It said Box seats, section 11, row w/e, seat w/e, etc.

So my question is where are the box seast?? Would that just be the 'B' deck as in sec. 11B or what?

This thread from 2005 gives all the links you need. Some of the links have moved, but the title for the links should be similar.

Took longer to type this than to find it...

1. Google Ohio Stadium Seating Chart
2. 5th link on google - Ohio State University Official Athletic Site: complete coverage of ... from OSU's official site
3. Seating Diagram: click on
4. For suite layout diagrams, click here.
5. For a larger, more detailed version, click here.
6. suite 10 appears to be right on the 45.

Judging from the Northwestern game I would say there will be some but will sell out quickly. I think they were down to single tickets in 4 hours for that game. I have my finger on the trigger and I'll be checking every half hour now until Friday night.

OSU v. MSU

Just talked to a girl at the ticket office, says the office will open at 11am on saturday. Based on what I've read here, I'm going out on a limb and predicting that this is not an accurate time. Anybody planning on waiting in line for tix this saturday? If so, what time do you plan on arriving-I'm thinking about getting there around 7am.

If you need more than one, you can call the Ticket office (614)292-2624 or 800-GO-BUCKS and see if they can get you two singles in the same row and as close by as possable, then when you get to the game, ask the buckeye fans in your row if you can sit together. It won't be a problem, believe me! If they give you the run around, ask to speak to the manager, she was very helpful.

People, the original post in this thread tells you all you need to know. It's the same for every week. If it's a big game, pickins are slim....if it's an average game, you'll have average luck....if it's Kent State, you'll have scalpers begging you to take them off their hands.

I actually waited in line this weekend. I didn't get there until a few minutes before 8 - they were passing out numbers (and had been since about 6:15, from what I heard). The starting number was 252, number 259 was sitting in a chair and had been there since 1:30 a.m., and I was #300. There were close to 50 people behind me. The folks thought there would be a couple hundred tickets, and with a max of 4 per person I thought I would be OK. Most of the folks in front of me had left, and were told to return by 10 a.m.)

They opened the office at 11, as they had said, and only had a few doubles. Within a few minutes, they only had singles. Between 11:20 and 11:25, they said they were all sold out, closed the window, and the line disbursed. I was still at least 25 people away from the window, so they must have had less than 100 tickets. Probably half of the people between me and the window at the time were scalpers.

Note: for noon kickoffs, the ticket window would be scheduled to open at 8 a.m.

I already had tickets, so I went to the game. I was trying to get more tickets for friends, but had no luck, but at least the weather was good.

I went to check hangonsloopy.com at 8am this morning and this is the message I recieved:

Please wait for the server to become available.

Thank you for using WWW.HANGONSLOOPY.COM- the Online Ticket Store for Ohio State Athletics.
We currently are experiencing extremely heavy traffic on our website.
In an effort to improve your ticket buying experience, the site permits a limited number of ticket buyers at any one time. When the countdown timer below reaches zero, the system will automatically try to access the site.
We sincerely appreciate your patience during these delays. If you would prefer to try at a later time, we would recommend the morning hours or later in the evenings. The busiest period is between noon and 9 pm.
Thank you for your patience

Countdown: 60

The Counter counts down from 60, then repeats after hitting 0! This will suck big time while trying durning the "mad rush" to get tickets during the small window they open to allow fans to buy tickets! Bummer!

The heavy traffic is due to Men's Basketball ticket sales. After today I would guess it will again be relatively easy to get online to check for Wisky Football tix. (assuming that's what you're looking for)

P.S.

There aren't any football tickets being sold as of this moment for Wisky (or Illinois).
