Single Game Football Tickets Tips

I sure they Wisc tickets are going to be as hard to get as the MSU tickets were. When I called about the MSU tickets (right when they went on sale) they said that single tickets were only being sold due to the mix up eariler in the season about Alumni who did not get tickets eariler in the season due to alumni band taking the seats that were reserved for "regular" alumni (I think it was during the Youngstown St. game).

Well, I had a pair in 2C at 2:04 PM but they went on sale between 1:30 and 2:00. I ended up with single tickets becuase I really didn't want to sit in 2C but couldn't get another pair after that. I ended up with 11AA Row 5 and 8 but a friend had 3 sets and gave them up becuase she didn't like where they were(She had never been to a game). She eventually was able to get a pair in south stands after I tried and tried for another pair. Go figure. In any case if I decide to go Wisky (I hate noon games) I'll have my finger on the refresh every 5 min instead of 30.

^^And yes the tickey office screwed up and sold 400 tickets that were the Alumni bands seats to regular Alumni ticket renewal seats. They gave them the option of sitting somewhere else for that game or tickets to another home game.

Wisconsin tickets are listed as being available on hangonsloopy.com for anyone interested!

GO BUCKS!!! :oh:
Thanks for the update - all attempts to secure tickets on hangonsloopy are being returned as cannot find seats at that price level, even with "Best Available" as the option chosen.

I'd say they had a few, very few - now they are gone, gone, gone. :io:

Tickets vs. Illinois

I'm going to be in town during the weekend of the Nov. 10 game vs. Illinois. I won't be arriving until about noon. I only need one ticket, don't really care where it is, and would like to pay a reasonable price. Since I won't be able to make it to this ticket window early in the morning, any suggestions on the best way to get a ticket? Thanks!

Keep looking at hangonsloppy.com. They've had at least single seat tickets for every home game this year. Then you just have to stop at will call at the Schott to pick up your tickets, can pay only face value and won't have to worry about a fake ticket, etc.

I am refreshing every 10 min or so online and no luck yet but I am guessing that they won't go sale if at all until tomorrow night again. I don't care if I get a single because my best friend(OSU alum) already has tix and has not gone to a game this year and I've been to 4. If I can score a ticket in the same section I'll be happy.

Anyone have luck today online or over the phone for the Illinois game?
Ticket Office has none (per phone call) 11:30 AM.

We won't know till later - but that seems to be the best chance, a late flurry of a few tickets via hangonsloopy, or by getting in line at the Schott early Saturday morning.

Then there are the scalpers.

1st --- Do you think there will really be any on hangonsloopy?

2nd --- how much do you think scalpers are going to be asking?? and when is the best time to buy, really early 12:00 for a 3:30 game, or right before kickoff?

In response to your second question, I'd have to imagine the latter.
