SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Dude is probably asking NFL teams for Belichick money too.

If he doesn't go this year he 100% will do it again next year and every year after until some stupid NFL team gives him exactly what he wants. Michigan is his fallback, he doesn't really want to be there anymore.

What if the NFL doesn't want him, and the adults in the room finally step forward and prevent Ono from putting the "free to cheat" clause into his contract? That could be fun.

There is probably still plenty of "we have to protect the reputation of the university first and not play this nonsense with sports" attitude on the scUM board. This is a real possibility.

He’s going to either be a martyr that took one for the program against the NCAA or he returns a hero and they think they have their Mich Man forever (until next year).

And he’s got a title so he’s already god status.

It’s a win win for him.

2023 was the absolute peak, it's all decline from here. If he leaves it's a fast crumble, if he stays its a slower decline but still a decline, big time transfers after seasons end aren't going to want to jump on board to a team with a coach who's flirting to leave before they play a game and they'll continue to slum it in recruiting. We will see how well they do having to lean heavily on meh recruiting classes from the last 3/4 years who arent 6th year SRs without higher level transfers to supplement it (especially on the OL)

Yeah, all but the ambulance chaser, have stayed quiet. I just wonder how the issue of having to be elected will play into their decisions. Are they willing to face the wrath of the Wal-Marts (well, let's be honest...after the last few months, the actual alumni too) as the ones who nailed the Messiah to the cross.

I'm having a hard time getting my head around an NFL team interviewing a guy who is publicly stating that he is still working on a contract with his university. I'd be like figure the fuck out what you want to do, and if head coach in the NFL is it, then maybe we'll talk to you then.
Oh you're still working out a contract with your current job? What's the sticking point?

Well you see, I'm being investigated for blatant cheating that gave me a significant leg up. Up until I decided to cheat, I couldn't win shit.

I see. And you're upset that they don't believe in your innocence?

Uhhhhhhhhhh.......yyyyyyeah....let's go with that.

I think any NFL team knows that Simple Jim is just stalling Yoko with a bunch of crazy demands until he lands an NFL gig. Nobody in the league is thinking, "gosh, what happens if we offer him, meet his demands and he runs back to Michigan?"
