SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Hmmmm compared to what? Here's list of the ten top brands in the US:
  1. Private label.
  2. Ben & Jerry's. ...
  3. Breyers. ...
  4. Blue Bell. ...
  5. Häagen-Dazs. ...
  6. Turkey Hill.

  7. Don't know if Private Lable is available in Cincy. Ben and Jerry's is comparable I suppose. I'd concede Aglamesies here in town in terms of quality. Beyond that, it's not ice cream, but the city also is home to Madisano gelato and their blood orange/dark chocolate is superb. The rest of that list is marketing and air-blown.

With the Chiefs winning, no real reason for the Bengals to play any of their main starters now. Almost guaranteed a 4th seed and really 2-4 there isn't much difference in the AFC this year. Hopefully we win though because I don't want to get swept by the Brownies.

@Don Muenz you beat your wife?

Nobody can hurt you like those you thought loved you. Further, affiant saith nought.

One of the most respected media members within Michigan circles just provided the best description of where things currently stand with Jim Harbaugh.

His assessment? Nobody knows a damn thing.

As Michigan "insiders" go, author John U. Bacon is about as plugged in to Michigan circles as someone can get. According to Bacon, not even those who are closest to Harbaugh know what his next move will be at this point. From there, Bacon provides what is likely the best assessment of the Jim Harbaugh situation that you'll read all week.

He makes several other earlier posts too including this one:

As it stands, those who know Harbaugh best are saying the least, and are also the least certain which way this is going to go. Harbaugh himself hasn't made up his mind yet, or he would have announced it. He doesn't play games with this stuff. He's not leveraging.

Anyone who thinks last year's "re-negotiation" didn't sting is kidding themselves. So he made the changes forced upon him, got the gift of a capable DC from his brother, had a turnaround season. If I'm Michigan I'm not fully convinced. I'm ready to pay him what he got paid before, but I'm sure as hell not putting up that buyout cash right now. Three more years like the last one, and yeah, but not now.

As for the NFL, in college, he's dealing with peers who may be in front of him on the organizational chart but are way below him in the compensation chart. In the pro's he answers to the owner. Huge difference. However, the owners represent the good ol' boys club of good ol' boys clubs. You may get fired but you're bound to land somewhere else with a decent paycheck.
