SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

by the by, harbaugh had one wide receiver commitment for 2018 and so far has one wide receiver commitment for 2019.

ronnie bell: ranked 1476th (213rd wr)
quintel kent: ranked 1669th (190th wr)

sure, the 2017 wr class was very solid (dpj, black, collins, and others), but once those guys move on, well...
Yeah, but they'll have 18 walk-on fullbacks and tight ends on the roster, so Harbaugh should be just fine running his 1972 offense.

7 straight 10+ win seasons finishing 1st or 2nd in Division/Conference
4 PAC championships + 2 Division championships
4 BCS bowls / non-championships (3-1* we handed the 1 to them)
... including 3 Rose bowls (2-1*)
2 NC appearances (0-2)
1 Heisman
11 All Americans

2015-present
9-4, 2nd
4-8, last
7-6, 4th
0-2 in bowls

1 All American (2015 Buckner)

If we don't beat them in 2014, they're probably another Clemson. I bet recruiting underscore that too.
It's not as great as killing Miami... but I'll put that kill mark on our bird's nose every day.

Helfrich was going to kill Oregon with or without or help. He made terrible hires and was a terrible recruiter. He was living on borrowed time

The national dog pile has begun

Michigan's opening dud feels like the beginning of the end for Jim Harbaugh

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Jim Harbaugh was hired, at great cost and with towering fanfare, to bring back the bygone days of Michigan football.

He’s done it. Just not the way anyone envisioned.

After the latest offensive debacle — another Harbaughcle, if you will — the Wolverines have their first four-game losing streak since the Rich Rodriguez Era and the 2009 season. Nobody in maize and blue has ever wanted to put Harbaugh and Rich-Rod in the same sentence, yet here we are.

You might have thought Brady Hoke Era was bad, and you’d be right — but at least Hoke never lost four in a row. Harbaugh now has............

Health Warning: DO NOT click on full article if you aren't physically capable of another schadenfreude fueled rager.

This is a significant moment...

MISCELLANEOUS
Don't make me think about Hoke. Michigan's fourth quarter in this game was mostly spent down two touchdowns and mostly spent without any urgency whatsoever. The inability to get plays off with more than ten seconds on the playclock with under eight minutes left in the game is extremely disturbing and, yes, Hoke-ish. It speaks to a lack of organization.
...this is the first time, that I can remember, that the Ministry of Excuses (mgoblog) has written anything remotely critical of the harbrau. And to hitch it to a Hoke comparison...woof. The whole article seems to have a tone of acceptance to it. Acceptance that maybe, just maybe, the harbrau isn’t the all consuming destroyer of worlds they’ve been hyping him up to be for almost four years. That maybe, *gulp*, he isn’t going to be the Bo clone. That maybe, *blaaaarrfffff*, he isn’t all that much better than Hoke.

This is why I have been saying I hope he doesn't go to the NFL (and I'm still not sure it's an option) and was hoping he would get that rumored lifetime contract.

I want them to have to deal with the fact he isn't the savior and be constantly reminded that they went all in.

Once they are broken, then they are allowed to quit the fucking sport.
