SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Forza Blu? Michigan reportedly planning spring practice in Italy

Undeterred by recent NCAA legislation, Jim Harbaugh is reportedly going international.

As noted by the Detroit Free Press, a post on Rivals affiliate TheWolverine.com reports that Michigan is planning to spend the final week of football spring practice in Rome, Italy. The team would not only practice several times on Italian soil, but would allow the team to visit the sights in the area and even leave players in Europe to study abroad for a semester.

The move would no doubt ruffle even more feathers in the football and NCAA communities after Harbaugh famously took the Wolverines to the IMG Academy down in Florida for spring practice last March. That prompted recent legislation that was passed at the NCAA convention in Nashville this week — a Harbaugh Rule if you will — that prohibited off-campus practice during a vacation period outside of a playing season.

I think he should try riding a go-cart from Ann Arbor to Italy......:slappy:

So, Jim... let me get this straight.....

You're a weird fucker... no.. wait... sit there.. you're a weird fucker. It's a fact. Now.. you cost us over 300, damn near 400 thousand to have spring practices off site last year. This past year.. wait for it... upwards of 750 thousand dollars to go to... Italy? For practice. Italy. Now.. we were OK with that because .. well. we're not sure why we were ok with that... but we were... now....

You just got your ass handed to you by 7 touchdowns to our chief rival.... Care to .. you know what.. never mind, get the fuck out of here...
you.. weird fuck

When the time comes, and it will, they won't be able to put that bastard on a plane back to the NFL fast enough.

He's still going to be the savior for a while longer. scUM allowed Rodriguez and cHoke 4yrs before they canned them. In 2yrs, Hairball has more wins than RichRod and is probably 1-2yrs from beating cHoke's wins. Not to mention that Hairball is a "*ichigan *an" and disciple of Bo. And from the decisions that the AD in scUM has made in recent years, they're drooling over themselves to keep Hairball for as long as they can, because there isn't many options out there to replace him, with name recognition or coaching pedigree. I can easily see them throwing a Brinks truck of money at him like ND did for Charlie. He's literally their best coach since Carr, and they don't want to go through another 8yrs looking for another coach to reach the level of success(using the term lightly) that Hairball has in 2yrs. He's took them from a laughingstock back to a national brand, to where at least national media and those around the nation who don't follow the B1G, actually think that they're any good. Nevermind that they're beating up on Rutgers, Illinois, MD and other bottom feeders, and they don't show a pulse against elite teams, because Hairball has enough smoke and mirrors to fool the media, who in turn fools the masses. And he brings attention(good or bad) to a school that was getting dwarfed by their chief rival with on field talent. scUM fans are lapping up whatever Hairball is selling, no matter how much of a baffoon he looks like. Urban literally sits back and watches with a smile at impending train wreck up north. scUM is too desperate to cut ties with Hairball, and he knows it, that's why it will be that much more glorious when he suddenly decides to go back to the NFL in another few years, leaving scUM high and dry, and reaching to grab a HC to right the ship, but by then the OSU Death Star will already be in full attack mode:urban2:

I'm not ready to say he's the best since Carr. The analysis has been done in several threads. The first 2 years of Hoke vs the first 2 years of Harbaugh are essentially a wash and that is with Harbaugh inheriting guys who fit his system. Fat Garbage man inherited the worlds supply of 3 star slot dots.

His accomplishments thus far are on par with Jerbils Heisman candidacy....more hype than anything else.

Best=hype according to scUM fans. Anything less than a NC for cHoke was a disappointment. I agree with the analysis of the 2, but to irrational scUM fans, Hairball can walk on water, make idiotic rap videos, do retarded interviews, sleepover at recruits homes, climb trees and appear on Judge Judy and all of it hilarious, and the greatest thing that any coach can do. scUM fans are falling over themselves over Hairball, which is utterly baffling to all of us, but his hype is enough to keep him employed at scUM for as long as he wants. Just like how Charlie Cheesburger bamboozled ND into being there for 5yrs, while Tyrone Willingham was only given 3, yet when you look at both of them after 3yrs, their records were nearly identical. At schools who were historically great, and their looking for relevance today, they tend to reach and give longer rope to guys who excite fan bases, and show more flash than actual on field production.

... and wait for it when he does leave. The fans will start to come out of the woodwork to be critical of all the antics they are cheering for now.

While not antics with the previous two coaches, the patterns are evident: hire a coach and find reasons, beyond performance on game day, to believe in his greatness. Once the shine wears off, they rationalize why things didn't work as planned... and then they start to turn on the once proud leaders of their program.

They need to change the fight song lyrics to 'followers and average.'
