Wolverine fan that wanted OSU to TAKE it ALL!

I'm a true blue Wolverine fan that got our rear handed to us again!, by OSU this year. No excuses. I truly professed that OSU would hand UF their booties and bring the Big 10 back into the spotlight. My faith is and will be in Big 10 football. No one now seems to agree. Band wagon betrayers. UF is not a better team but played a better game. Never would I have thought I'd be bouncing off the freakin walls screaming for OSU as I did when Ginn ran that ball back for a touchdown. Then I got a flashback at the Rose Bowl. Sacks, interceptions, etc. NO MATTER what anyone says, when push comes to shove, I'm staying with my conference. History demands it. Rivals or not, I felt the loss for OSU as if were UM. I feel for the seniors but they will go on to be great players in the NFL, and well deserved. I'm not a traitor, I'll hate you guys again next year at the end of the season. However, I'll back any Big 10 that has a chance to prove everyone wrong.
Everyone wants to beat us, not just anyone can. That's a fact. Let em' have their 15 minutes of fame.

1) We lost to Florida, not Notre Dame.

2) We lost to a Florida team coached by Urban Meyer and not Steve Spurrier.

3) VLloyd got his ass beat too, thus no more "rematch" bull shit.

4) Troy, not the Mighty Quinn, won the Heisman.

5) Teddy looked incredible on that kick off.

6) We're outright Big 10 Champions.

By my negative Michigan comment above about the BCS game, I directed that at all of the whiny Michigan fans that would not let it go that they were not in the BCS Title game. And to make it fair, Florida's first championship in '96 was a rematch against Florida State. You seem like a classy Michigan fan, not a whiny one.

We're not the other 117 Div. I-A schools.
We won the Big 10
We beat scUM
We keep a lot of talent
We have a favorable schedule next year
We beat scUM
We have Jim Tressel
We have a great BBall team too
We have the best traditions
We are perennial powerhouses

We are Ohio State

With due respect to Vic22 and his good post...

scUM still sucks. :wink:

As for positives:

- Looking forward to a dominating defense next year
- If Pittman comes back we'll have a very formidable 2 headed running attack that I have to believe Tressel will take advantage of
- The Buckeyes basketball TEAMS will give us fans many reasons to cheer in the next few months

You and me both. Once the rivalry is out of the way, then it's a matter of "What's good for the Big 10 is good for Ohio State," and that means Michigan needs to kick ass in its bowl games. Really wanted to see that awesome foursome* on your OL shine against USC and wipe that goddamn smirk off Perky's face.

*Henne, Hart, Manningham, Long, and what the hell..make it five: Breaston.

I am araid that next year we will be weak at QB and WR.

I think we will have a tough time next year aainst scUM, Illinois, Wisconsin and Penn state.

A. tough isn't impossible
B. its a good season for a lot of the youngsters to cut their teeth on. a tough season week in and week out makes for a group of guys who take noone lightly. including a percieved weak florida team that espin thinks has no right playing tOSU for the nc. it'll be 10 years before we overlook anyone again or feel we don't have to go 100% because we have so and so at position X.
C. we have a ton of talent coming back.

i smiled 3 times during the nc game. freeman making his first perfect form tackle in a game this season warmed my heart more than i could put into words.
