- My first big road trip next year will be to Seattle!

- I was not afraid to admit today that the better team won last night and that we would be back.

- Nobody will take away my memories of Austin this year.

- A Buckeye loss is still better than a scUM win.

- We have basketball to look forward to now.

Sorry, these are not helping me. It is 6:42 and I am still crushed......

I wonder what effect this will have on recruiting?

Watching freshmen and a Heisman Trophy winner getting to play in the national championship game? I'd say recruiting will be fine.

Don't lose heart, its never easy taking a big "L". We're all in this together. This is a character builder for the team as well as the loyal buckeye fan base.
This is a great point because it's easy when disaster strikes after a game like this, to get down and feel like the sky is falling. You look around at Florida fans and you wonder what could have been. But...you have to remember there were millions of Buckeye fans going to bed last night in disbelief just like ourselves. We all had that embarrassing taste in our mouths. It does feel better to know we all have to deal with it, and get through it together.

We played better than 12 ACC teams, 10 Big Ten teams, 16 Big east teams, 12 Big Twelve teams, 10 Pac Ten teams, and 11 SEC teams last night.
I don't think so. Most of the regular season, yes, but not last night.

edit: Oh, now I gotcha. It's because all of those other teams weren't playing last night. A little slow, I guess.

My wife can't stop giving me comforting hugs

There will be a new season, and number one son says he is more eager than ever to make the pilgrimage to the Spring Game with his dad.

I have two "Man cubs" who have expressed their unfading love for the bucks, and want to go to the shoe and learn the traditions.
