Shoelace and the Heisman - where's Denard finish?

After tapping out in The Game, Denard doesn't deserve to be on anyone's Heisman ballot. He flat out gave up...what a pussy.

This +10. What a clown. Have some respect for your school (even if it is scum), your teammates, your fans, and for God's sake, for The Game.

Who the [censored] is Owen Marecic and why did he get 3 1st place votes?

He is the two way fullback/linebacker from Stanford..kid is pretty tough.

Probably got the votes only for that reason

Which player will win his year's Heisman Trophy?

Note - any trophy returned by the player or his University after the wards ceremony will NOT result in a voiding of the vBet.

And two,
Shoelaces did better than most of the guys who were board favorites :paranoid:

Yeah, evidently tapping out of the biggest game of the year isn't frowned upon by Heisman voters. Who knew?

Are there soothsayers and clairvoyants on this net who KNOW for sure why Denard didn't finish the game?

In the face of what we are learning about athletic injuries and their long term affects it seems to me that caution is far better than remaining on the field and risking greater injury.

The kid took a great many shots throughout the season and didn't quit. I'd be slow to demean him.

It appeared that a non-throwing hand injury was the reason. If it would have been a shot to the head I don't believe that he'd he getting much grief from most BPers.

That's beside the point. We DON'T know how serious the injury was and yet people want to go on record that the kid: a) could have played, b) the injury wouldn't affect his ability to hang onto the ball -- something he had trouble with even when not injured -- c) the decision was all Denard's d) he's a wuss.

I don't think that's a fair analysis.

Did I miss something? He does play for TSUN, doesn't he? When did the requirement of fair analysis come into play with anything connected to them? :)
