I use the name as a substitute for "god"

"For the love of Woody", "for Woody's sake" etc and , no offense, I mean WW Hayes when I say Woody

Well, now that they're running the Briles offense with better recruits against a Big XII schedule they're golden there. Biggest problems are their own secondary, and that this entire house of cards is built with a true frosh QB as its foundation.

If Buechele gets hurt, they're fucked. If Buechele goes through the typical freshman growing pains, they're fucked. If Buechele develops 'dead arm' like many young passers in their first full college season, they're fucked.

It's just a question of when, not if. In two years though, yes, they could finally be 'back,' if they can sign at least one competent pass-first QB in each of the next two classes and manufacture some depth.

If opposing coaches watch some film and realize that he's only able to throw quick fades to the sidelines, they're fucked. You're right about the 2-3 years away part, which makes the shag predictions of 10-2 and 11-1 so delusionally arrogant.
