SG Musa Jallow (transfer to Charlotte)

I have no problem being patient with Musa. I don't want him to transfer. I guess I just wonder what Musa's patience level will be with the forwards position becoming even more crowded next season with Gaffney and Liddell in the mix. If Musa wants to stay and compete and get better, more power to him.

Musa seems like the kind of kid who gets it, Im sure the coaches explained to him that he would need development and to be patient and things of that nature...and now it is starting to pay dividends...and he is still a kid who has not even began to scratch at his potential. I love to see the growth

Musa is legitimately one of the top 5 or 6 players on the team this year when you evenly weigh all-around ability. Him transferring would be a really bad thing for this team. I'm sure there will still be a valuable role for Musa next year, even with the new guys, because he will still be the top defensive stopper on the perimeter.

Musa Jallow and Andre Wesson are Ohio State’s two players with the capability to guard four or five positions. Both showed that Friday against Iowa State. They’ll have to do so again Sunday. But both suggested they don’t care all that much on what type of player they guard.

“Probably the big guys in the post," Jallow said of the tougher matchup. “I feel like I can jump those passes and steal them. Both take a lot of attention to detail and you have to know how they play. Little guys are probably harder.”
