SG Jon Diebler (2nd-Most Big Ten career 3-Pointers, Butler Recruiting Director)
Sadly, many of those that do remember Burson will probably remember him for the horrible injury he suffered as much as for how good he was
Deibler could break his scoring record. I remember watching jay shoot, he was great. He had to wear that metal thing that screwed to his head. I don't remember what it is called

It is called a halo brace......Burson was my favorite player growing up and it was tough when he couldn't play anymore due to the injury.
Yes that is it. I remember how sad it was when I watched him sitting on the bench wearing it during the games.

Anyone here know if Diebler is bulking up any? A little bit of muscle on this kid could really help down the road as the opposition gets bigger, tougher and stronger.
Other than weight training I would say that he is concentrating on playing this season right now. Bulking up will come afterwards. You have a point , he will need it.

It's basketball...bulking up helps SOME players, but not all. I compare Diebler to a guy like Kevin Martin. Great FT shooter, strange shooting motion on the floor (but the ball goes in a lot), wiry, uses his length to get position on defense and rebounding, etc....Diebler does not need to "bulk up" IMO. He will naturally gain some weight as he continues to age. A player like this, however, should remain lithe and skilled more than anything else.

Faces In the Crowd

Why has this guy not been in Sports Illustrated? The all-time list looks fantastic, and Jon has out-performed many players who made the page. What can be done to get him in there?

Nevermind, I just nominated him at SI.com/faces

Diebler scored 47 points (hit on 14 of his 28 field goal attempts), grabbed 16 rebounds, six steals, six assists and five blocks.

Diebler glides past LeBron oh, yeah, Rams upend Willard

BOYS BASKETBALL

WILLARD Upper Sandusky gained a bit of breathing room in the second quarter and combined that with another solid night from Jon Diebler to hold off Willard for a 97-91 Northern Ohio League win Friday.
