SF William Buford - 4 BTT Title Games, most Buckeye starts (Virtus Roma - Italy)

Bump for Buford before tonight's game. I was looking for his thread and saw the threads of almost every other player on the team until I got to WB's. Most of the other guys on the team get props because Lighty is the glue, Diebler is the three, Craft is our freshman PG, and Jared is Jared. Even the Diesel gets more things written about him than Buford. In my mind, WB is probably the best all-around basketball player on the team and hopefully tonight he will show the big:pissed: blue how good he really is.

Buford the Best!

Buford is a smooth scorer who can "go off" on a team and score 20 points in a half. He is deadly inside and outside the arc, and can "thunder dunk" in the blink of an eye. I got to meet him and talk to him a few years ago at the HS tournment. I rmember he was very soft spoken and had bigger hands than mine! When he is on his game and Diebler and Lighty are alos hitting their 3's the Buckeys are unbeatable, as they are un-guardable.

Yep, he said it on multiple occasions this year in the presence of Jackson. He might have even said it last week against the UTSA. I just found it funny.

Sucks for Will...worst game of the season on the wrong night. Such a great season but the luck for the team, and especially him, just turned at the wrong time.

I feel for him. He was just so off tonight it sucks...

It wasn't just that his shooting was off but that he didn't work it into Sully that really hurt. Poor decisions and coaching in that regard.

I have no idea what would inspire Will to think that he should be taking that last shot.

Let's not even look at the shot selection overall.

But in the end, if a player is ice cold, the coach needs to make those adjustments.
