I think Stanton has just solidified #3 QB. Nothing he's done yet has really impressed me, but he's done a very good job taking care of the ball and putting it in the right place.
My biggest knock on Stanton so far is that I can tell where he's going with the ball long before he throws it, and that will be a problem in the NFL.

If you go back to the Scout and other previews the South was reckoned to have, overall, a more impressive squad.

Today, not so much. Both Big 10 QBs have lead TD scoring drives. The North O-line is getting a good push on rushing plays, though a lot of good individual effort has been required from some of the running backs (Leonard and Hunt in particular). The converse matchup - N****>S.

I think this game, so far, is an excellent example of how games are won in the trenches. Not that we've already won -- but that's been the difference all game so far. Pressure upfront and solid protection.


BTW, Sack Patterson!!! Good for him!

well scout is way off, the north team is much better
