SEC (It just means more.. even its losses are wins)

But it also fucks over Texas and Oklahoma so I'm here for it.
The funny thing is the Texas boards are all up in arms of how this screws the SEC and ESPN. And how the SEC needs to put pressure on Fox. First Fox don't give a shit they don't own any of the SEC. 2nd SEC doesn't really care about 1 year. Does it inconvenience them? Probably. Will they go on the warpath over one year no

Exactly. This is a Texas and OU problem. It’s been two years. They’ve had more than enough time to pass the hat around and buy their way out of the league.

They don’t want too.

The fact that either Tejas or the Sooners fans are doing anything beyond thanking the Gods they pray to is amazing beyond belief.

Has the SEC said how they will handle divisions or schedule games?

Normally, a Bama vs Texas/OU game would move the needle nationally. What happens once Saban leaves or more likely to happen, Texas/OU have 3-4 losses going into the game?

Ohio State vs TCSUN always draws well because of their national brand, but 8-0 juggernaught Bama vs 5-3 OU after losses to Texas, Arkansas, and LSU ain't good tv IMO.

Hasn’t been a vote yet to move to 9 conference games.
Once that happens, the league will go to the pod system. Three permanent rivals and then a rotation of six other conference opponents, home and home over two years.

A lot of FCS schools are going to go broke over the SEC going to 9 conference games.

Interesting breakdown of how the money comes in and where it goes for AU/UA/UGA. This is for 2021, so it's a year in arrears.

Couple thoughts:

1). I don't get the math on Bama's expenses. IDK why there is a 17MM dollar disparity, I'm going to assume it's infrastructure expenses to expand/improve their stadium.

2). I appreciate the "struggle meal" approach to Bama's strength and conditioning program. Hamburger Helper and Spaghetti-O's fuels the Crimson Tide

3). Auburn's coaching salary number is likely much larger since they're paying Harsin to go away and now have Hugh Freeze on the payroll.
