Butch Davis might stick around. He now has NCAA baggage following him at 2 schools, and he may be toxic elsewhere, so they got a shot at keeping him.

Let's be honest, they are hoping to get lucky with a rising coach with some HC experience. They aren't going to pay top dollar or even m an average salary to a football coach. Dykes is their best option and he's a guy that may actually want the job. That's saying something

the SEC isn't scared to overpay a coach, so I won't say absolutely zero.

but I'm confident he's not leaving a team he took to the NFC championship game to coach a little brother school like Auburn.
