hmmmm

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Looks like 6 to me.

By that method, tomorrow is 2 days away. :wink2:

You'll be in that parking lot less than 120 hours after you made that post. That's less than 5 days.

Any word on Fawcett parking lots. We are always there around 3-5am, before the guy that takes the money. We just park and wait and we are never first as I have heard of people showing up at midnight. They have told us for years we are "not aloud to be there prior to paying" but if you wait you don't get a spot.

I don't know much about how the guys at the Fawcett Center run their lot. That lot should fall under the same blanket as ours and not allow anyone before 5am. Your best best is to arrive early for the first two games and ask if they plan on changing their routine. I say two games because inevitably, T&P/AD will make changes after the first game and the guys working the lot may have changes forced on them for the Akron game.

My dad is coming to Columbus for the Y-Town game this Saturday. I live in Columbus, but don't know a whole lot about gameday parking. While a student, I would park for games in the lot of my fraternity house on 15th. My dad won't do anything like that because he doesn't like door dings on his car. So I'm trying to find a place for him to park that would be easy on his car, but at the same time convenient. The only place I can think of would be a parking garage on campus, but I'm fishing for a better option. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks Scooter!

Well, there's your problem...you're making too much noise.

I can confirm that we are too loud! Thats funny, I read some of what people type and wonder what the hell were they thinking and you point out something I think I was taught in maybe 3rd grade. Back to the thread topic, the parking people are actually pretty easy going and dont bother you if you are there before 5am as long as you pay them at 5am (fawcett parking lot).

Get there early and go to the Ag building. Best day of game parking on campus.

The early part is no problem, we usuallly get there around 4-5am. Your talking about the lots south of lane by the schott.

http://tp.osu.edu/Maps/FootballParkingMap.pdf by building 298 and 003 right. I will definitely be there as I am going to all home games except Kent State. How are the staff and rent a cops there. I remember seeing an article on here from the dispatch saying that Fawcett is the most ticketed (open containers) anyways. HOPEFULLY the cops and the fans can be somewhat civil and co-exist. Thanks for the tip!

COLUMBUS, Ohio -
Changes for this year's Ohio State football season include concession stands that will accept credit cards, a taxi stand to help visitors find a cab after the game and changes in parking, university officials said Tuesday.
More than one million fans are expected on campus during the seven-game home season, 10TV's Kurt Ludlow reported.

Scooter, any major changes to the parking routine for this weekend's game against Kent State? Any idea on how early I should arrive or what route I should take?

I'll be coming in on 23 and hope to be able to turn on Dodridge and would like to park near Fawcett Center or near the AE building. I seem to recall getting all messed up last year with roads closed off for the Cincinnati game.

I would greatly appreciate any advice that you could give.

Thanks,
Capn'

As far as I know, everything should be normal tomorrow. Some roads get set in-bound traffic only before the game and out-bound only after. Its a non-conference game, but an instate rival with many fans nearby. Just get there before 9am. If you are hoping to park at the Fawcett Center, get there before 7am.

Just a head's up. We are now #1 in the nation and this week's game against Michigan State is Homecoming.

Parking and traffic are going to be murder. Get there early and carpool where possible.

Its a 3:30 kickoff but most lots will fill before 10am.
