Yeah true... they just aren't getting in if they lose. They're going to fall 1 spot if they lose to #13 Kansas while OSU drops 3 spots for losing to #2?

Nah no way. Not saying we deserve to slink into the playoffs but that doesn't make sense financially or just logically to go with TCU.

Confident that if TCU loses they are out. Really not much doubt in my mind at least.

Just gonna disagree here. If they get their ass kicked by score of….I don’t know let’s say 45-23….then maybe. If it’s a close game throughout and the margin is single digits then falling 1 spot is totally possible.

Possible? I mean I guess... just will have to disagree I suppose.

I just see no way they put TCU in if they lose. Shoot they had 1 loss Alabama above TCU before Alabama lost a second game. They're dying for a reason to leave them out and IMO they will if they lose

Do we really want to be in the playoff and get embarrassed by UGA? The outside run and WR screen offense would struggle to manage 100 yards all game against them.

I guess the alternative is some Pac 12 team in the rose bowl. Which is a thankless game. Win and "oh they should win" lose and we are a even bigger laughing stock.

We are most likely in if USC or TCU lose though.

They'll leave TCU out the second they are able to.

Totally agrees 1000%.

Do I want Georgia? Hell no.

Is that better than a game vs Utah in the Rose Bowl while missing a crap load of guys? Hell yes it is.

Also, yes. If TCU loses they're done the second that clock hits 0. They do not want that team in the playoffs if they can stand it.

So what if scUM lost to Purdue?

If USC and TCU both won it's highly possible that BAMA gets put in over scUM and Ohio State.

scUM losing to Purdue would be used as "proof" that the B1G is weak overall and that Ohio State and Michigan neither are that great. (since scUM couldnt beat Purdue and Ohio State couldnt beat scUM) I get the feeling the committee may agree with that sentiment and just default to Bama.
