I think @Jaxbuck makes a good point, and rather than a purge, I think folks (like myself) need an attitude adjustment (particularly on volume).

Many of us like blowing off political steam (it's enjoyable venting for me), but if it's ruining the board, or friendships or ability to save hatred for the Harbrau (TM), then there's a problem. That's why I generally avoided that forum until things were turned up to 11(to the eleventy!!1! power) with the last election.

I fully agree with trying to find a way to separate the poli board from spy. I'm not sure if that's possible, but it would be productive.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around people 'not' being able to parse out political talk while sharing a collective bond of being a Buckeye.

If you take it that personally, perhaps it should be avoided. I can only think of one particular poster where I just couldn't bring myself to share a beer with him after the Bucks win another title. Of course some of his
postings that I'm not fond of transcend from the poli board into the football side.

With that having been said, I'm all for the previous suggestion. If you don't like it - avoid it.

I can think of two;

1) Jeffcat because he was a fucking pedophile. I'm not from Happy Valley, I can't ignore pedophilia for football.
2) RyDawg because, well that would just be fucking weird.

I'd drink with @Fungo Squiggly but I'd be alert for rufies and generally just to try to stay as sober as possible. I mean, let's be real.

I'd gladly buy a round or three for anyone else on here.

I'm not looking to polute this thread, I'll make me peace here.

Willie, it's beyond funny to me that someone such as yourself complains about "bullying". You strike me as the calling others snowflakes type. You've also offered the greatest offense I've seen on the poli board to another poster. Complete with a pic for good measure, I might add. You offered no apology, no olive branch while other posters (at times may be a tad smug) continue to make their points articulately and without.... photographic support. (to be kind)

But your perception of being bullied is not accurate. I would ask you to contrast your posting style, choice of words and detail with other active and informative opinions. Then cross reference that with someone like ... Mili or even BM11. I think you'll find similar responses to their more abrasive and broad generalized context. Then take a gander @OSUK. I might disagree with his words but I hold him in a high esteem because of his willingness to craft creative responses.

That being said, youre alright by me and I've always thought you were Nick Mangolds clone.
