All kidding aside, FatCharlie is a very good offensive football coach. He's not head coach material, and I'm not convinced that he needs to be in the college game, but the man can draw up an offensive game plan with the best of them.

I have to wonder if it's a good fit in Gainesville, but I guess we'll about to find out.

One of the little reported facts about Petrino leaving the Falcons is that he wasn't allowed to speak to the players. He was basically escorted out of the building.

Owner Arthur Blank and GM Rich McKay gave their blessing for Petrino to talk to Arkansas, only to change their minds when they realized the beating they were going to take in the media. So, Blank comes out with the blatant "blindsided" lie to cover his ass.

But that doesn't make nearly as juicy a story for the media pimps to flog to a public that will believe anything bad about other team or other coach or other conference.

The very same public that will freak smooth the fuck out when the very same media pimps dare say the slightest critical word about our team or our coach or our conference.

Coaches get fired mid-season all the time and no one bats an eye. Coaches get hired and leave before a bowl game and it's 'just business'. Lou Holtz quit on the Jets before the season was over and he's the beloved Hall Of Famer. But Petrino bails out of a miserable, no-win situation in Atlanta and he is the biggest coward in all of football.

Fuck Arthur Blank and Fuck Rich McKay. And FUCK Home Depot. Right in their stupid lying mouths. Three times.
