Overall record: 15-21 (.417)
Big Ten record: 6-18 (.250)
Overall points scored: 1,009 (28.0 ppg)
Overall points allowed: 1,083 (30.1 ppg)
Big Ten points scored: 601 (25.0 ppg)
Big Ten points allowed: 848 (35.3 ppg)
Record in The Game: 0-3
Points scored in The Game: 24 (8.0 ppg)
Points allowed in The Game: 100 (33.3 ppg)

Just to put some of the numbers in context....

Jim Tressel has more Big Ten wins this season (seven) than Rich Rod has in three seasons combined (six).

The same is true for each and every season between 2005 and 2009, inclusive.

Michigan has given up more points in the past three seasons combined (1,083) than Ohio State has given up in the past six seasons combined (1,019).

Michigan has given up more points in the past three Big Ten seasons combined (848) than Ohio State has given up in the past seven Big Ten seasons combined (785).

Jim Tressel currently has 105 wins at Ohio State. At his current pace (.41666), Rich Rod will need another 216 games in order to reach the 105 win mark. That's another eighteen years at twelve games per season.

Jim Tressel currently has 66 wins in the Big Ten. At his current pace (.250), Rich Rod will need another 240 Big Ten games in order to reach the 66 win mark. That's another thirty years at eight Big Ten games per season.

Jim Tressel currently has 9 wins in The Game. At his current pace (.000), Rich Rod will need infinity years to reach the 9 win mark.

Long live Rich Rod!!!

And I say to you, what more do TSUN fans need before they see the upside potential in this guy? Don't give up now. You're almost where you deserve to be.

Hopefully soon they will arrive at their warranted destination.

Bump.

Now is not the time to lose hope people. Was he fired when Toledo became the first MAC team to beat scUM? Was he fired For breaking 30+ years of winning seasons and bowl games? Was he fired for NCAA violations?

So why would the biggest bowl defeat in school history get him fired, they MADE a bowl damn it. I'm sure switching defense coordinators again will be all he needs to do.

I'm still holding the soap.

I would hope that OSU fans would be tired of beating up on the hapless TSUN, and would be ready for some real competition.

I mean, for the past three years, it's been like beating up the slow, stupid kid on the block.

That's only fun for so long.

I think we have at least a few more years before it gets old if ever.

False. It'll be fun until the Earth's heat death.

You're right, it is only fun for so long. But "so long" isn't over quite yet.

The trouble with this particular slow stupid kid is he never admits to getting beat up and when you ask him why he talks how he banged you around when you both were 2 year olds.

Translation- Michigan fan today will not talk about the last 10 years but instead bring up how they own the overall record vs tOSU even though they only lead in the series based on 13 straight wins between 1985 and 1916.

I say lets pummel their arrogant asses for the next 13 years and then worry about if they are competitive.

Huh? 21 years? From 1988 thru 2000, Ohio St. was 2-10-1 vs. Michigan.

Ah, Gatorubet is responding to a post by SmoovP. Think about their screen names and you might get a clue about what he is talking about. If that doesn't help stare at SmoovP avatar while repeating the screen name "GATOR-ubet".

Hope this helps.
