Hyde out. The offense was already unwatchable and now...wow.

Not really sure why he's been playing recently on a stress fracture in his foot, but anyway, hopefully a couple weeks off will get him back close to normal.

Kap placed on IR. I guess that's that.

He had a helluva two year run go start his career and had some absolutely epic playoff performances. But, as is often the case with guys that rely on physical gifts, the book on how to stop him was written. And he never got a real shot as a pocket passer as his OL literally crumbled around him. Thanks for the.good memories, Kap.

My mistake. Apparently he was just "late for practice," which is another thing I've never heard of from an NFL head coach. Also bizarre that he apparently doesn't remember something that happened the day before yesterday but then again this is the 49ers so nothing is really bizarre.

A report came out this morning that you didn't show up Wednesday morning due to friction with Paraag Marathe. Is that true?
"That is absolutely false and I was at work, what day was that? What day did this happen?"

Wednesday.
"Wednesday. OK. So, between 4:00 am and 4:30 am, I drove through the gate. I was late for practice this week. I got there for the team periods. But, I have not missed a day of work."

You said you drove through the gate at what time?
"Well, if it was Wednesday, it would be between 4:00 am and 4:30 am."

In the morning?
"Yeah. In the morning."

In the morning and then you left and came back?
"Yeah."
