Their last two drafts have been going that way...the 49ers just put together a draft that might mean they can go after FAs in the next few years to fill gaps instead of having to resign aging players to do the same.

I was happy they picked up Skov too. I see a lot of him living in the Bay Area and was surprised he wasn't drafted. He's a little slow and a little erratic but he also makes a lot of plays.
5. Not so Raw Hyde
Carlos Hyde. All eyes are on you. The 49ers have lost two running backs to injury so far. Kendall Huntersuffered a torn right ACL andLaMichael James went down with an elbow injury, which isn't considered to be as serious, according to multiple reports. That means the rookie runner will have a chance to be Frank Gore’s backup this season. So far, Hyde has shown he can stand out in a crowded, 90-man practice field.
