Game Thread San Diego State Aztecs at tOSU, Sep 7, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN2

It's a tremendous leap. He has no experience as a starter, lacks size and arm strength and doesn't make any of the NFL throws.

Why is it not enough for people to recognize that he brings exactly what this team needs from its backup, and nothing more? He's a very good player and I'm glad he's a Buckeye, but he's not a starter and not a future pro.

Matt Cassell was a career backup. I absolutely do not have any illusions of Kenny becoming a starter, or even a backup, in the NFL, but I also wouldn't be surprised in the least if some team took a chance on him as a free agent or in the late rounds.

Yep he's asserting that SDSU is the worst team in CFB. Who recruited all of their upperclassmen? Enjoy, wolverweenies.

I'm pretty sure he also asserted that Miller didn't get hit when he got injured.
Granted nobody hit him, but this is still football. Players get hurt, it happens.

His trolling is slightly more subtle than most, but it is trolling nonetheless in my opinion.

Yeah, I love me some Kenny G, but he does not have NFL tools. Plenty good to be an excellent college QB, but he's not NFL size, and does not quite have an NFL arm. He may manage to be camp fodder for somebody, but I really think that's about it. He has a future in coaching, though IMO.

A Michigan fan comes to an Ohio State board to calm the masses down regarding the most extreme positions that almost no one is taking. It's as stupid as it is unnecessary.[/quote

Kenny has played well against inferior talent, UM offense makes QB's look better than they actually are, see Tebow. Now Braxton has been great before Meyer, 2011 he carried OSU. So in Meyers offense the ceiling for Braxton is unlimited.
SDSU would have lost to Buffalo and now some want him to start.

What happens when Kenny starts getting hit hard? I don't think we know yet.

I am not the one stirring the pot, I am saying relax it was one game against who might be the worst team in CFB in 2013. Granted nobody hit him, but this is still football. Players get hurt, it happens.
You must certainly are. It's been pointed out that SDSU is not as bad you decree them to be, yet you insist pressing the issue.

A different point of view is not trolling, just because you don't agree with it, does not mean it's trolling.

Miller popped his knee on the cut, he was not hit. Am I wrong?

His helmet was knocked off during the play. Most in the stands were thinking a head injury, not knee. He was most certainly hit, and you are most certainly wrong.

Really how bad or good are they then? From what I watched they were down right horrible, I am not talking about last years team. I am talking about the one who played on Saturday.

Now the question is, did OSU make them look that bad or are they really that bad. IMO they are that bad, but future may tell another story.

Let me summarize as best I can while trying to take out most of the hyperbole about the NFL and who is the better starter...

Guiton's ability to run the offense efficiently and make the correct reads a majority of the time makes him a much better QB than his physical attributes alone would indicate.

When you take away Miller's running ability, either by design to protect him, through improper reads on option plays, or through hesitation surrounding injuries- he becomes a less effective QB.

These two things bring them closer to a level playing field, in my opinion- although, once again, not to the point that you would ever consider playing Guiton over a healthy Miller.

That said, Miller hasn't exactly shown the ability to stay healthy which complicates things.

I am not worried long term and trust the coaches to handle the situation appropriately, but the injuries and poor reads from Miller (which go back to last season) are concerning to me at this time.

I hope Braxton can stay healthy and stay on the field while running the offense as effectively as we all hope he can.
