Nothing dirty about it, but in today's NFL I expect he'll be hearing from Der Kommissar next week, and opening his checkbook.

he probably should've been lower in his attempt, but yeah, he was clearly trying to use his shoulder and collie got tackled toward him and they hit sooner than coleman expected. shoulda been trying to wrap up though, not a smart play.

I disagree. I think Goodell is aware of the recent criticism, and its clear that Coleman did not lead w/ helmet. They'll probably issue a statement that the penalty was correct, but that the hit was inadvertant - thus, no fine.

I agree, but did you notice that Peyton and company on the very next play hit the seam again probably guessing (correctly I might add) that the coverage might be a little soft as a result of the last play (the penalty and the player being carted off the field).......

Not that it matters but it doesnt make much sense that the call was unnecessary roughness, if anything if should have been for a hit to the head, but whatever refs suck
