Indeed. And I love it. This guy really impressed me in the Allstar Game. He looks LEGIT to me. Not sure what it is about him, call it a little bit of swagger, confidence, etc.Statement.
Statement.
No kidding, at least the depth now seems much more appealing. If these guys can come in and compete we will have options which is enough to get guys fired up to perform better.Indeed. Thought one of the Glenville kids would pick 7 or 10. But awesome to see them with 1 and 2. Can't wait to get these guys on the field
Agree...he looked fast, aggressive, confident. Obviously a kid with all the right tools. Should be fun to watch him develop!Dude is a total stud. He just has a certain swagger and presence on the field to back it up. I have said it before but it would not surprise me if he ends up in the top 3 guys from a LOADED 2014 class. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
I hope to see a lot of opportunities for Smith to learn and grow next fall. He saw spot duty and looked like a talented true freshmen who wasn't close to ready.Powell was clutch but Smith seems like the better overall athlete. I wouldn't be surprised to see a job-sharing scenario like with Grant and Raekwon last year. Smith has to get solid minutes this year so that he's a veteran in 2016.
