Holy shit. Outscored 136-0 in the last 2 games. Urban took it easy, as well. scUM didn't take it quite so easy on them. Ty Isaac scored a TD with 3 minutes left in the game. So much for backups. Isaac was in the game and scored midway through the first quarter and was still in the game in the 4th? They don't have a walk-on or waterboy to put in?

They're actually on the level of some of those 1980s Northwestern teams as far as inept football goes.

Points per play is a pretty good indicator of offensive efficiency.

Washington is #1 at .667 points per play
OSU is 8th at .581

Rutgers is dead last in the nation (#128) at .193

They make up for it by only being #122 in allowing opponents .558 points per play

You could go on all night but that's a pretty good glance into how inept they are (exacerbated by playing in a good league and getting ass pounded weekly)

Jerry Kill reportedly nearing deal to become Rutgers offensive coordinator

As his former program emerges from turmoil, former Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill is working his way back into college football.

According to a report from NJ.com, Rutgers is set to hire Kill to serve as Chris Ash‘s offensive coordinator. Kill, 55, earned Big Ten Coach of the Year honors in 2014 before emotionally walking away from the game during the middle of the ’15 season due to his ongoing bout with epilepsy. He spent the 2016 season as an associate athletics director at Kansas State, working with the Wildcats’ football program.

If the Kill's health holds up, this is a great addition to Ash's staff.
